Was here training for my new job. Room was beyond comfortable, perfect location to walk to Post Office and enjoy Omaha's beautiful Old Market. Relaxing pool, and great breakfast!

Service is almost nonexistent. There is a nice gentleman at the front desk but he is doing everything on his own. If you need anything extra for your room you have to go to the lobby and wait, there aren’t any employees to assist you or bring anything to your room. There is a sign claiming to have increased sanitization and cleaning but that is clearly not true. The pool room is tiny and doesn’t stock towels. The hallways, floors, carpets and walls are filthy. Fingerprints, dirt, dust, crumbs, etc. everywhere. The trash cans are full everywhere. The elevators are gross. The rooms appear clean but the carpets need shampooed or at least vacuumed. The bathroom has gunk stuck to the sink and hair everywhere. There are fingerprints all over in the room. Our stay has been very disappointing for what we paid and what we expected. If we could switch hotels, we would. The only thing good about this hotel is the location if you want to be downtown. I would not recommend.

Hello, the location of where the hotel is fantastic! Plenty to do around it and it’s close enough to the old market, university is not too far away, and plenty of food and places to eat. Overall that is the perks of this hotel, now let’s dig in. I came for a night to visit family and do some shopping, first off you have to pay for parking, what a joke. The parking ramp is awful first off, and there’s been numerous complaints of vehicles getting broken into! Fifteen dollars wasted there. Next the employees and service, terrible. Just terrible. It took them over 5 minutes to explain to us how the parking worked, and what we needed to do, and the coworkers were not even that friendly (the lady helping us was actually nice when we checked in, the guy who checked us out didn’t give two hoots). Didn’t even ask us how our stay was 🤷🏻‍♂️. I didn’t get an opportunity to check out the pool, but a family at breakfast was talking about how they overheard an employee talking about the pool and how they didn’t want to clean it. Let that be an indicator of service level here. Breakfast, let’s be real here. You can go to a low tier gas station and get better breakfast. Honestly, no hot food, no eggs, nothing. Pre packages muffins (apple cinnamon….) bagels (no blueberry, surprise). The only nice thing that they did somewhat right would be the coffee, that was mediocre at best though. I wasn’t expecting a glamorous buffet but somewhat of an effort would have been better. The room, our room was actually not that bad. My brother had a room with broken bathroom tiles, chips in the wooden window sills, and bad carpeting. We were fortunate to have a decent room, very minor problems, overall not bad though. Just a heads up if your looking to shower you have hot, really hot, boil, and scalding. That’s it, I cold water!!! Why!!! Overall, if your looking for a place to sleep this is it, if you want quality service and top tier experience, for the price this is not it. Wayyyy overpriced for what you get.

The location is the Best location in Old market. It was great to have everything close and be able to walk to. We were a little bummed the shuttle was still shut down. But we probably really didn't need the shuttle, we were thinking of taking to the zoo but since we did a long day it was nice to have our car there and it was a quick easy drive. They were a few weird things with hotel, like ice machines were only on certain floors. With breakfast still being somewhat limited they still had plenty of choices and good presentation. The big commercial toaster was good and very fast. The staff was nice and helpful. I am glad I read a lot of reviews before our stay so I didn't have expectations of a real high end hotel. The rooms were clean and it was nice to have a sofa in room and staff was nice and helpful. If you choose to book here try to book early and get the lowest cancelable rate you can, the tax rate is really high and an extra $15 a night for parking. Eventhough I don't like paying extra for parking it's really nice and convenient for this location. With being in the Best location in Old Market eventhough the stay was not cheap probably looked like at least $200 less for 3 night stay compared to other hotels in area. Overall this hotel work out well for us to stay in a very cool and fun area to celebrate our wedding anniversary!

Great location, right in the old market. If we return to Omaha we will definitely select this hotel. The staff went above and beyond with every request we had.

Okay so the location is terrific, however, that's about all it has going for it. Upon reading other reviews it is clear that the owner does not care to hear about what is wrong with the place as she copy and pasted the same two responses on every review three stars and under... So I'm here to warn you not to go for this hotel. First I would like to state that we paid $175 for ONE night. -The pillows on the bed had a weird smell. -other people in our party noted their room had a tile coming up in the bathroom -you have to pay to park in the hotel parking. $15 per day. Otherwise all parking in the surrounding area is meter parking. -the shower had 2 temps, hot or scalding hot. I could not get the warm temp I was looking for which is better for my hair -the nightstand looked like it had crumbs on it from a previous guest -the breakfast was a joke. Flattened bagels and granola bars. No hot food. For the price you would think they could do better. -overheard other people while we were having "breakfast" that the pool was cloudy/dirty -the ac makes a really loud noise when it kicks off -the seating that had fabric material all had stains in the lobby -chipped windowsill -mini fridge in our room barely kept food cold -no microwave in our king suite. Apparently you have to pay an extra $15 per night for a room with one.. All in all we will not be returning and I do not suggest anyone else does either.

Excellent staff. Facilities are always clean and well maintained. Secured parking in downtown Omaha is always a plus and I can't say enough about the excellent shower pressure.

We stayed at Hyatt Place in Lincoln, Nebraska a couple of years ago and were very happy with the cleanliness and service there. This is why I opted for Hyatt Place in Omaha as opposed to the many other options in the downtown area. We stayed just one night, and I'm glad it wasn't longer. The room was unbelievably cold when we arrived despite the thermostat showing 82. We called to have it looked at, and the gentleman from the reception explained that the temperature is regulated automatically and cannot be changed no matter what it says. He said there is a limit that it can never go over. I'm not sure whether he understood that the actual temperature in the room was far from the 80+ limit, but his solution was bringing some scruffy, old blankets from a storage room. He made a remark saying that we’re "lucky that we don't have to stay in said storage room because that's where it’s actually cold.” Um. Had I known the price of the room includes bad jokes from staff, I would have definitely opted for another hotel. The cold theme continued in the pool and (unfortunately) the shower as well. The pool does not have a clean vibe to it to begin with, but the temperature in the area made it so much worse, especially coming from the freezing cold room and hopping in the refreshingly chilly shower after. We stayed here in March, perhaps it would have felt better had it been in the height of summer. The room itself was ok, I would say I 100% paid for just the view, and it’s also the ONLY reason I’m giving this place 3 stars. Our room was on one of the upper floors facing downtown, overlooking the river. If you’re booking a place for the College World Series, I would personally go with another hotel or even a motel. The rooms at this Hyatt are on par with most mid-range motels, and during the CWS season, the prices are ungodly everywhere, making this place even less worth its price than it is during the rest of the year.

It's unfortunate to have to give this kind of review, I have recently come to really love the Hyatt brand. This particular one did not meet that standard. When we checked in there was someone else's food left in the fridge and it made the entire room smell upon opening. They did come and take it away. We booked a room with a pull out bed and when we went to use it there were no linens in the room for it. Called downstairs for linens (had to do from my phone because the room phone kept dying) they brought linens but just the sheet and thin blanket, not the comforter. The thermostat clicked CONSTANTLY. When I asked about that I was told it "does that when the room comes to temp" No, it did that about every 5 to 10 seconds if it was not currently blowing or in the off position. So we either had to be hot or sleep with the temp turned way down so it wouldn't "come to temp". Garage was not a secure garage. You did need a key to go up to rooms from elevator but garage gates appeared to be broken so anyone could drive in. I prefer a secured garage in a downtown area. It was disappointing as someone who trusts the Hyatt brand.

Perfect place to stay for the college World Series. Very clean and a free parking garage.. Parking garage is big enough for oversize trucks as well. A little tight getting into but tall enough. The staff was great hotel was great
