We stayed there on our way home from SD. For the most part the room was clean except for the dirty/used towel hanging behin the bathroom door and what we had to researched and turned out to be a shrimp skull. Yes, a shrimp skull. And when I told the front desk clerk, she seemed to careless. I even showed her a picture and she still couldn’t be bothered. I realize things happen but this was deliberately placed on top of the closet and housekeeping should have noticed it. I did!

Diamond elite member here with IHG. I was BEYOND disappointed in this hotel for several reasons. 1, they lack the general service items that almost every hotel has (no waters at check in, rude front desk staff, no milk at breakfast? Run to the store and get a gallon. Be better.) they are also “cashless” so if you have real, hard, cold American cash that has been printed by the government and is the real backing to any credit or debit card, they won’t accept it. The manager on duty was rude to my face when I asked for a simple bottle of water at check in, and employees were confused as hell at where anything was at. Furthermore, the parking is a nightmare. From someone who travels over 50% of the time and stays in either Hilton or IHG exclusively, this hotel does not live up to the typical standard set by the parent company. DO NOT STAY HERE IM BEGGING YOU TO SAVE YOURSELF.

This is a very clean and well-run hotel. The amenities were functioning. The elevator is somewhat slow, but works fine. Not too much noise, and the blinds to the rooms are effective. Temperature controls worked well, and there were no issues with check in or check out.

It was okay for 1 night because I was barely there, however I would probably not stay again. The pros: the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, I slept great! The shuttle took us to and from the hotel to the concert. The cons: parking is $15 a day, its a small lot and even if you pay, you're not guaranteed a spot if you leave and come back. It's also not through the hotel, it's a 3rd party company. Check in is 3pm, I arrived at 2:30 and checked anyway, my room was not ready. I went and got food and came back at 3:45 and they said it still wasn't ready. They had to make some switches to get me in a room. When I was waiting for service I felt like I was an inconvenience since they were in middle of personal conversations before they talked to me. The pool area was messy, dirty towels all over. The breakfast was terrible, I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. None of the ice machines worked. They have a "market pantry" by the lobby, cost $7 for a candy bar and bag of chips, a little outrageous. No alarm clock or clock at all in the room.

I read reviews before staying and hoped for the best. But every terrible review post is exactly what we experienced. The staff were great, but there is clearly something illegal going on at this hotel. 1. We were charged twice for our stay. The only reason I checked our Visa account so diligently was because of previous reviews stating they have been over or wrongfully charged for their stay. We have contacted Omaha Police and are seeking further legal action at this time. Don't stay here or you will likely be robbed. 2. The entry to the pool and workout room was broken and accessible to anyone at any time, even young children who can easily push the doors open. The handicap lift into the pool is also totally broken, ADA lawsuit waiting to happen. The liability issues going on here are insane. 3. Our bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and shower door would not stay shut. I assume the entire bathroom (or hotel floor) was not level, which would explain both issues. We also read about this in other posts. 4. Parking cost $15 a night for a horrible parking lot with tiny spots (so everyone’s car was highly likely to be damaged). There was nearby parking for way cheaper. 5. The safe was locked before we entered the room, which we also read about in other posts. We don't typically use them so it wasn't an issue for us, but don't expect to have a safe to use. Don’t stay here. You will be robbed.

The staff was very personable and informative with happenings in the area of the hotel. We reserved 2 rooms and was very impressed with the rooms. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. We made a vow to return to this Holiday Inn Express. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being exceptional satisfied, I rate our stay at 15. Over and above our expectation.
