Worst rental office ever. I arrived right before the office closed due to a flight delay. On 7/3, it seemed the person at the office couldn't stand working that day. He couldn't answer basic questions about how the credit card would be processed. He didn't list the correct additional driver name - when it was brought to his attention he said it didn't matter - or he didn't care to make the extra effort? When I returned the rental, full tank of gas, zero damage, the office was closed even though it was 11am on 7/6 and they "closed" at noon. People were outside the office furious it was closed and when I arrived they thought I came to open. I took photos of the car, dropped off the keys in the secure box by 11am. Two days later I get charged for an extra $80. Why? No idea! Now I have to deal with Hertz to figure out why. Save yourself time and pain - avoid this office at ALL COSTS! It will end up costing you in the long run. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. *UPDATE* After trying to call Hertz, their customer service phone number wouldn't accept calls. I reverted to using an online chat to work through what was happening. The customer service agent had an issue pulling up the rental because the contract hadn't been closed - also why I was charged extra (for an extra day even when I returned the car?). The area manager called me to apologize. He noted the office was supposed to be closed but there was a computer glitch that allowed people to book and showed as "open". After letting him know about the bad service on the check-in day, he noted to follow up with the employee. I also let him know when adding another driver, the driver's name was completely incorrect and didn't match the government issued ID. The employee didn't care to change it even though we asked him. I asked the manager to remove the extra driver charge given we could have been in a lot of trouble with authorities should we had been pulled over and names didn't match the rental car - we shouldn't have had to hold the liability and risk due to employee failure to follow procedure. The area manager also offered to send a voucher as an apology - he was very nice and apologetic on the phone. I accepted the voucher and will see how the next Hertz rental car experience goes....I still have a slew of charges on my card from Hertz so hopefully they drop off. Leaving the 1-star review given the hassle I've had to go through.

I have been going to this hertz for several years now and ever since Forest started managing it, the place has fallen off a cliff. He is worthless in every sense of the word. He can’t bill correctly, the cars are in disrepair, he can’t resolve issues and generally seems to have no idea what is going on or any sense of responsibility. I’m finding somewhere else.

I rented a car here from August 12-16 and they put a hold on my card for 250.00. Its now been 7 business days and the hold has not been released. Contacted the credit card company and they advised it has not been released on their end. Called them directly multiple times without an answer. I went to the store only to be advised that the rep would have to email the store owner for her to released the hold and that she had a lot on her plate. A guess a customer being out of 250.00 is not a lot on their plate and they have time to wait and waste waiting for something to be done that should of been done 7 business days ago not to mention I'm supposed to leave town again this Friday with my credit card being jammed up. Now two months after this fiasco they decide to charge my card an additional 50.00 two months after i rented the care

Vehicle smelled AWFUL, ruined our trip. I declined to switch cars because I thought it would air out. They wouldn’t give any type of credit or pay for the numerous air fresheners I had to buy just to make the smell tolerable. Will NOT rent from them again.

Hertz is nothing but a scam!!! They took my money for my rental back in February, rental was in May. When I went to pick up they would not give me the vehicle. My card was good enough for them to take money in February but they didn't want to use it for the deposit, yet stated it had to be the same card I used to pay for the rental. When I demanded a refund was told no, and have been fighting for over a month now to get my money back. I get the same auto response from emails and never get a real person on phone or when I do they hang up. Wouldn't it be a shame if their Omaha locations were smashed up, I don't think so

Truck had to go to the shop for service and while it was out of commission forrest was able to get me a nice truck for the meantime. He was quick and helpful and wasn’t trying to force me into any upsells that I didn’t want/need. Would come back

After I got into my car wreck I was in need of a rental, Hertz was just down the street so I called my insurance and walked to Forrest! He was fast and quick to get us our car rental! He was certainly friendly for 8AM! Car was great, cleaned, and it did not smell! Was in and out under 10 minutes! Would go see him again over Enterprise! Thanks again Forrest!

We rented a car for 3 days over Thanksgiving. Everyone went ok except the car had not been cleaned before we rented it. Someone had smoked in the car and it was strong smell when heater heated the car. We were not pleased.

The rental experience at this location was terrible from the moment I walked in. Forrest the store manager lack customer service skills and was very rude. The website doesn't state that this is a private owner of Hertz and not a corporation location that charges extra fees for smelly ran down vehicles. If I didn't have an important event to be to, I would've cancelled my reservation. For what I paid for and what I got a for my rental a 2018 Spark is reason I'll never make a reservation again at this janky location.

I was in Chicago for 2 weeks recovering from a serious surgery. I rented my wife a car from Priceline and paid extra to have collision insurance. When my wife showed up to get the car they talked her into purchasing the exact coverage I had already been charged for. I called you he location to ask if it could be removed and told Forest I could send proof I already paid for it and had been charged and his response was “I don’t see it on our end, I can’t do anything about it”. I feel like they were sneaky and pulled a fast one on my wife in a vulnerable situation. I am still dumbfounded that he not only wouldn’t accept proof from me, but was so short and quick to tell me he wouldn’t do anything for us. I’d rate it lower if I could.
