Hans was so great! Our AC went out during the Summer… Hans made it to our house that same day for a quote, wrote up various proposals/options for us to consider, and they replaced both our AC and furnace within a week! Everyone we worked with were beyond kind.

Hans literally saved my life. For a few months, my heating system was putting out a level of CO gases that was making me sick, extremely tired, flu like symptoms, etc. Today I am a lucky and healthy person again. My central heating system failed one evening and the house was cold when I woke up, so I called Hans. The technician that was dispatched to inspected the the heater immediately recognized it was not functioning properly. He then measured the CO gas levels. His equipment measured an astounding amount of CO gas. He immediately informed me that he was required to disabled the system. He then reported the problem to his office. His office then sent out a sales rep with whom I have had the pleasure of doing business in the past and together we chose the best replacement heater. The old system was disabled on a Monday and the new system was installed on Wednesday of the same week. It was amazing to watch the Han's technicians remove, measure for customized sheet metal work, seeing the customized metal work delivered in under 1 hour, the new heater installed and all of the work completed in about 6 hours. Within an hour my home was heated and comfortable. Not only comfortable, the new heater is amazingly quiet. I am glad the old system failed and experienced members of Hans Heating and Air Conditioning were here to help me. Thank you to the people at Hans, (I am now back in good health - no more lingering flu like symptoms caused by CO gas leaking - I also purchased 4 new CO gas and smoke detectors).

I Called Hans for yearly service on Heat and Air Conditioning that they installed. The Techs were on time. Before they began work I explained that the AC unit has been loud from the time their company installed it and would like for them to investigate and provide me an answer as to why it is so loud. After their work was complete he said the reason that the AC is so loud is because it is only a SEER 13 and that the control board to the AC’s compressor caused it to ramp up. I called BS and said if that was the case and it was a slow start on the compressor motor it would quite down after it got to full speed. I then asked to talk to his service manager and his reply was that he was on another job and would call me back. I waited till the end of the work day for a call and did not receive one. While waiting for a call back I did some investigating and found that he was either making stuff up or did not know what he was talking about when he made the claim that the control board was causing the compressor to be loud. I also went down to my utility room to look at the furnace and noticed the front cover on the furnace was not correctly reinstalled after they serviced it, so I removed the cover and noticed the transformer for the humidifier was wire tied and hanging onto a group of wires that are connected to the control board. This didn’t appear to be more than a sloppy install except the two wire contacts on the transformer were facing the front cover that has a foil face on it. This can cause a short resulting in damage. I ended up repairing this myself since the Hans service manager refused to do it. At the end of the work day around 5pm I called the Hans company back and got the service manager Steve on the phone. I explained all of my concerns about the noisy AC compressor and the way the humidifier transformer was installed. He had no response as to why the AC was loud and he said that all new construction humidifier transformers are hung from the control board wires and that it is OK if the open wire connectors come into contact with the foil on the front cover. When I disagreed he got angry and told ME to calm down and said that his boss would call me back. Before I could say anything else he hung up and I haven’t heard from anyone since. I’m at a loss as to why they are refusing to help with an AC unit that they installed. In my humble opinion the service manager and his crew need some serious training in HVAC and how to communicate with customers. As a person with almost 40 years of industrial maintenance experience I learned long ago that it is OK to admit when you don’t know or are unsure of something. Those moments present learning experiences where you can then research and find the correct answer to the question.

Beware! This company will add Freon without looking and finding a leak! Asked for adjustment to bill but they weren’t willing to do that. I would never have agreed to pay $375 for Freon if he had told me he was not going to fix a leak!

Hans was amazing, our A/C went out on a Friday night in the middle of July! Hans was the only company who called me back on Saturday and had a technician out by 1:00 pm to look. Unfortunately the A/C was completely broken and they gave us an estimate on Monday and had it installed by Wednesday. Installation went very smooth and the installers were professional l, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves impeccably.

I had Aksarben come to my home because my thermostat wasn’t working. They told me my system was shot. My plan was to get four bids for a new system, my fourth was Haans. When i took the salesman downstairs he started asking questions about my brken unit and kept saying t”hat doesnt make sense.” Well i liked Haans product the best but the salesman told me he could get a technician out to check my unit first so i agreed. He found nothing wrong wth my unit except a 20 dollar blown fuse. That was a much better price than a 12000 price tag for a new unit

I had to replace my furnace and AC this past December. I called Hans and a few others for quotes on replacements. Jamie, at Hans, was awesome. He not only wrote up different package scenarios but he also followed up with me after the proposals. They were not the least expensive option but the details in the proposal along with the professionalism made the choice for us. My wife and I picked the package that was best for us, called Jamie on a Tuesday and had the new furnace installed on a Thursday.
