My wife and I arrived at 6pm on a Friday night. They were extremely busy. There were a number of people in the front waiting for either "To Go" orders or to be seated. We were greeted promptly and put on the wait list. We were told 10-15 minute wait.. We quickly saw a bustling group of employees moving quickly. I'd say from the time we got there until the time we were seated about 5 or 6 people came in and picked up "To Go" orders. We were seated right around 15 minutes so not a long wait. We were quickly addressed after seated. Our waitress took our drink order and returned quickly. We placed our order, my wife got the two taco plate with beans and rice and I got the Fernando's Favorites plate. Beef Enchilada, one taco with beans and rice. We were served within 10 minutes of placing our order. Surprisingly fast, our waitress checked back often. Very favorable experience, highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Delicious food, ample serving size and super fast service.

Food was very bland, did not taste like Mexican food. We were charged higher amounts for the three entrees than shown on the menu. Seven dollars for a small basket of chips and salsa seemed inappropriate. Do not recommend.

Great local Mexican restaurant. Was able to get right in on a Saturday night which was nice as we were on a tight schedule. Gluten free options, excellent service and drinks! The marinated meats in the street tacos were fabulous!

$50 for lunch and the best part was the tootsie pops that came with our check. Rushed server, almost throwing the plates on our table. Refilled my daughters soda with water lol. Did not enjoy the food. Rice and beans tasted like a tin can, acid taste to it. One bite of my meal and I couldn’t eat it…. Manager could have cared less. $50 out of my pocket and an empty tummy when I left. Would not recommend.

I’ve always been a big fan of Fernando’s but as of recent there’s one big issue, servers rushing guests. Tonight I came in with my family of 6 around 8 pm (less busy time) and was asked when ordering drinks if we were ready to order. We declined and ordered an app. When she came back with the drinks she asked again, so we ordered. Just minutes later all the food arrived, with no appetizer. When I asked about the appetizer she said she forgot about it and would put it in. When she finally brought it out it was cold. I asked for a new appetizer and then waited to eat my meal until it arrived. While eating the appetizer, she asked me if I wanted a box. She rushed the check, and waited at the table for my husband to sign the tip receipt, immediately taking it once he finished signing. People go out to restaurants to enjoy a meal, not to be rushed through it. Slow down. Let people enjoy their drink, appetizer, etc. Don’t make them feel like they’re the one thing standing in the way of you cashing out and going home.

First last time. Sign on the desk upon arriving immediately tells you to give the servers a break - they at least showed up. Immediately seated in a large booth with a tiny round table. Took awhile for anyone to come over, despite seeing staff and a manager pass us. No free chips + salsa, no biggie. Chips are DELISH! Best part of the dinner. Ordered: Chicken Quesadilla + Chili Relenos No BEUNO. Chicken tasted reheated and from a pre-sliced bag. Quesadilla filled with an over abundance of what looked and tasted like Colby Jack cheese. Chili slop was nothing more than a bag or two of cheese - heart attack dish. Didn’t finish either dish and didn’t take leftovers. Too much cheese covering the lackluster chicken. Dessert: Fried Ice Cream: DELISH Price: Fair Service: Slow Recommendation: Maybe not go on a busy understaffed Friday night. Parking is limited on busy nights.

Fernando's has been a family favorite since before it opened. We've been going to El Bee's (same recipes, although the menus have diverged a little) forever, and we've been loving Fernando's, too. It's true, it's not traditional or authentic Mexican; it's definitely Americanized Mexican (with no shortage of cheese on everything). However, Fernando's does what I consider Mexican comfort food better than anyone in town. Additionally, their fried flour tortilla chips are unlike anything I've ever found elsewhere, and they're so good that I get an order of bean dip every time I go to the restaurant. The enchiladas and tamales are also top-notch. Overall, they're just an excellent restaurant. Definitely one of my top favorites!

Absolute disappointment. How hard is to mess a plate of nachos? Dried meat and burnt chips was just the beginning. Tacos were absolutely horrible and not too keen on the service either. Plates were thrown at us and there was a bit of a demeanor from the waitress. Won’t recommend.

We tried Fernando's for the first time on Saturday. Food is great and relatively inexpensive. The margaritas are very small for 7 dollars. They needed several space heaters to keep the rooms semi comfortable (and it was still chilly ). The nachos were bomb. Enchiladas, tacos ,and chimichanga were all good.

Food was delicious, had the #2 Fernando’s Favorite with a beef taco and a seafood enchilada. Both were delicious. No chips and salsa come before your meal which isn’t a hug deal to me but some of you might find that a useful fact… (if you made it this far give me a thumbs up). Frozen margarita was ok, nothing special but it was drinkable… staff was friendly, restroom was clean but had a sewer smell. Nice little place for lunch!
