Dynamite Woodfire Grill

Modern fine American dining. Countless wine choices. The service was superb. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was fantastic. Try the scallops!

I am going to start with the positives. Tons of style in both the atmosphere and food presentation. Dynamite disappointed on execution. Started at the lobby bar as restaurant bar is reserved for dinner guests. Okay no big deal. My date ordered a cosmo and the bartender needed a hand on what to do from the cocktail itself to what glass it should be served. Which would have been fine if it tasted like a cosmo. Where our experience degraded was the kitchen. Again presentation was fantastic. Actual flavor of the food was good. But grilled seafood was at room temperature at best. We flagged down Christine the dining room manager who immediately sent someone to remake our entrées. The second time each was only slightly warmer and we ate them. Our server, like everything else at Dynamite was stylish, friendly, and even entertaining. He also was largely unaware or absent when we needed him most. We did not take any of that out on him and still left 25% of the full bill. To finish, Christine made a save by comping the bill and acknowledged the shortcomings from the kitchen. Highly professional manager who solved the problem. Maybe we just hit the Dynamite on an off night. Might go back just for drinks and apps to find out.

Bad breakfast experience. Ordered an omelet, hash, and coffee, and had extremely slow service on a Sunday morning. Pretty flavorless fare…boring potatoes, omelet had no seasoning, and the butter for the toast tasted suspiciously close to margarine. The biggest issue was the fact that my hubby found a big black hair at the bottom of his hash, at which point he lost his appetite. The server seemed apologetic and our whole meal was comped, so that was appreciated in light of the issues. I would still never eat breakfast here again, even with the convenience factor for hotel guests. Edit: I originally gave Dynamite 2 stars since they comped our meal, but my husband got sick about 3 hours after his meal. Reducing it to one star.

I always thought Nebraska had nothing to offer… well Omaha sure had a lot of tough decisions on restaurants tonight and their downtown area has a lot of great looking spots! I ended up picking Dynamite Woodfire Grill, set in the popular “Old Market District”, offers a vibrant dining experience with a focus on dishes over an open flame. The staff was very professional and the food and ambiance was amazing! ✔️Wood Fired Octopus with guajillo chilis, fingerling potatoes, chorizo, cilantro, and radish. ✔️Char Grilled Cauliflower steak, with butternut squash hummus, feta, chimichurri, and lemon.

If you’re looking for something fancy, stop looking and go here IMMEDIATELY. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best food my boyfriend and I have ever tasted. There’s an incredible classy atmosphere and very friendly staff. I don’t drink alcohol, so my party was offered mock-tails. They were absolutely incredible. Both of the times I’ve visited, I got the chicken. This is the best chicken I’ve ever had—they must be using some sort of magic or sorcery back in their kitchen. I’m not particularly a fan of the sauce they put on the chicken (I’m a very picky person, 100% personal preference), but that sauce made my chicken absolutely delectable. To follow, we ordered an affogato with chocolate ice cream and a chocolate cake. I can’t even begin to describe how delicious they both were. My toes were curling simply from the whipped cream alone. Dynamite Woodfire Grill is the best restaurant I have ever dined at. By the way—if you’re a fan of seafood, definitely order the salmon. My boyfriend said he’s had dreams of the Dynamite Woodfire Grill salmon ever since we visited for prom. Anyways, 10/10!!! 5 stars!!! 6 stars if it were possible!!

I just want to start off by saying that this place is absolutely delightful, we have now been here twice and have booked our next reservation already! This place was so amazing that we drove 3 hours just to enjoy the experience and we are going to come here once a month! the moment you walk into the restaurant you are immediately greeted by the hostess (we had Rae (she was absolutely wonderful!!)), and once seated our waiter Steven was both knowledgeable and saw to our every need! Our glasses were never empty, and he was always close by if we ever needed anything. Not only Steven but also the entire staff including management went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Every dish we have ordered here was always cooked to perfection and was of the highest quality including the desserts!! They take 5 star dining to a whole new level, and would definitely recommend a visit!!!

5-Star Experience. Right when you walk in, it is the most beautiful interior. The menu isn't overwhelming and the food was amazing. If you are getting dinner, the serve complimentary corn bread (incredible)! For you next date night/girls boujee night out, you need to try Dynamite.

So after seeing all the good reviews that says “ive never had food like this before”, its soo good, etc.. etc.. I decided to try this restaurant and i almost ordered everything on the menu. But let me tell you, for a $100 steak, I’ve never had steak as bad as this place. The Filet- It was soooo sooo salty, and chewy I couldn’t swallow it because of how dry it was. The food is very nicely represented but the taste is not so good, I would say you can get better steak at outback or longhorn! The calamari is delicious but they serve it with a butter sauce thats alright. The carrots are so oily, the cauliflower steak drips out out as you can see on the place, and thats part of the presentation, the salad if big chunks of greens, they could cut them into a little smaller so you dont sit there eating like a cow. The fries were served without ketchup and by the time the girl realized we didn’t have ketchup, the fries were almost gone. The cocktails are basic. Honestly, the only good thing here was the truffle mac n cheese.

The restaurant is located in the farnam hotel. The food was great. Server was very helpful and i liked the menu that was on a tablet that allowed you to see photos of each item. We did not need a reservation on friday at 5. The inside was wonderfully designed. I did feel like there was a lot of people on business. I enjoyed it nevertheless.

This is definitely my new favorite restaurant. Shout out to Chris our server who did a phenomenal job. In addition all the staff members were very nice. We appreciate the manager stopping by our table to check in. Also got to chat with the chef who gave us recommendations for next time. Everyone in the establishment had a great attitude. Then there was the food. I got the chicken he got the salmon. Both were so amazing. The sides also make the meal and the asparagus and potatoes were both great. I can tell the food is great quality because I don’t feel sluggish or have a tummy ache lol couldn’t have asked for a better date night.
