The hotel was very nice. The front staff was super nice and helpful. However when I checked in the room furnace was shut off and the temperature of the room was in the 40s. It took a couple hours of running the furnace for it too warm up. I had also requested extra towels, toiletries, and a blanket via the app prior check in. Nothing was there but an empty blanket bag and dirty wash rags hanging in the shower. I had been flying all day and didn’t feel like dealing with it. This isn’t my normal experience with the Marriott family of hotels.

I am a platinum member and have never been treated so poorly by ANYONE at any of the hotels I have visited. The front desk person (who was a manager (wow)) needs a few lessons with customer service. When I went to check in early the person at the front desk simply said, I have no rooms for you. When I pressed her as part of the perks of being a very loyal consumer is early check in, she said, yeah I see you are a platinum member, we were sold out last night so I have no rooms and you can check back at 12 and see what if anything has opened up. In other similar experiences, the front desk person explained fully the first time why they had no rooms, was super nice and apologetic (no need to apologize because they were sold out but the empathy was nice), and they said they'd call/text me as soon as a room was available. Not this person with lots of attitude unfortunately. Last, as I was sitting in the lobby waiting right in front of this "manager", she never called me up and told me a room was ready. When she left, I went up to the other front desk person who was super nice, said they didn't have any suites but they did have a king room available then if I wanted that one. How nice and what a simple way to go above and beyond.. That person should be the manager.. My question to this hotel manager and to Marriott, do you want your loyal platinum members being treated like this?

Room was good food options horrible everything ala cart very disappointed when bar closes at 8pm n starbuck only open in morning if u have a bar in hotel then it should be staffed be aware hotel is misleading with restaurant n bar chaz batender when bar was open very nice n excellent bartender

Nice hotel, near lots of shops and restaurants, bars, things to do. Great location. Nice high ceilings, comfy beds. Loved the shower!

Had to cancel my stay due to the flu, cancelled the day before as I got really sick but apparently you need to let them know before you are actually sick you need to cancel due to their 48hr policy. No issues with Delta cancelling the day before, they gave me a credit that I am using for next visit to Omaha. Would have taken the same thing as I travel to Omaha frequently. Rosalind was particularly rude talking over me, this hotel needed my $108 and no hope of me staying there or the La Vista location again. 20+ years of Marriott loyalty, incredibly disappointing. Will find another place to stay next visit.

Great location but very noisy at night - all night - over the weekend from all the motorcycle and street traffic noise especially if you're in an odd numbered room. Front desk was friendly and accommodating but didn't get any cleaning service in either of our two rooms during our two night stay. Very walkable to old market but room phone was broken and bring your own pillow. Our stay was far from disastrous but I would not stay here again.
