COIT Cleaning & Restoration

I had the best experience with Coit carpet cleaning and restoration. Kevin and Jason came early and did a great job cleaning our whole apartment. They have the best pricing and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use them in the future.

I had the vents cleaned by COIT and felt that both gentlemen, Rich and the man with him did a very thorough job. I was very pleased with the quality of work. This was for new construction and I had the concrete floors cleaned in the basement before carpeting was put down and had a concrete floor walkway also done. Kevin was the technician who did this job. His service was outstanding. He was very detail oriented and carefully worked with all areas to make it look totally perfected.

Rich and Jason were here yesterday to clean my ducts and carpeting. I couldn’t be happier! Both were thorough, efficient, observed all protective measures, and answered all my questions. My carpeting is soft again and my home smells so much better! I have been a customer for many years and will continue to be so in the future. Thanks for a great job, Coit team!

We bought a house built in 1954. The main entry and hall floor is slate. The floor was dirty and had some film or residue on it from some coating that had been applied. I had another company come out and they said they couldn't clean it. I called COIT. They came out and said they sure thought they could. Jason came out and spent over an hour and a half steaming and scrubbing. It is an amazing transformation. I'm having them out soon to see if they can save some very old, but good quality, carpet. UPDATE - Jason did such a FAB job we had him back out to do some carpet that another company said couldn't be saved and we'd have to replace. Jason saved the carpet. We went on vacation for a week right after cleaning, came back and none of the previous stains reemerged and they still haven't. The carpet is soft, the pile is restored and it still smells great. Thanks again!

My dog got sick and threw up all over my living room. I tried to clean it myself and realized rather quickly that I was not going to be able to get this job done on my own. I called COIT cleaning and restoration and within the same day they sent out Rich and Joe who did a fantastic job! I didn’t think they could get all of the mess out and they did! I will recommend COIT cleaning and restoration to all of my friends and family and anyone who needs carpet cleaning services. I have never been happier! Thank you so much!

I've had 2 experiences with this company so far and both have been great! I first had my couch and living room carpet cleaned and while the technician was here he was able to give me a quote for my upstairs carpet. I wanted to wait until the next month, and no questions asked they just saved the quote and followed up with me a few weeks later. Today Rich completed the upstairs carpet cleaning and did a fantastic job! He was even willing to retreat a spot on my sofa that I had a question about from the previous cleaning. He did a great job at explaining how my particular upholstery is dry clean only and what sort of limitations that means for them as technicians. Fantastic customer service!

Always ask what the final cost will be even after you’ve been quoted a specific dollar amount. An extra $29 was added for a service charge after our basement carpet was cleaned. Their reply was “You try cleaning carpets for $139.00”. Our point was “tell us that when we ask for a cost estimate”. Don’t quote us one price & we pay a higher amount. We will not use this company again.

I usually do not write reviews but this just had to be done. If anyone is looking to have their carpet cleaned call COIT and ask for Kevin. First of all we were impressed that he was on time, he wore protection gear from head to toe. He checked the whole carpet out to see what needed to be done and located where some tougher stains were. He was very kind, and very knowledgeable of the carpet cleaning procedure, the cleaning was done very quickly and thoroughly. The carpet dried quickly, it feels soft and it smells good. Thank you Kevin!! Also a shout out to Wendy - Great customer service!

I feel that this company is not being transparent in there prices and price is in the tech's mouth when he arrives and can increase the amount at the time of cleaning. So they say $120 is the base price regardless if you clean a room or you have a few spot issues. When the tech comes says you need this and this and this. Even if you only want steam clean only it's the same price, after he advised me what the cost would be it was over $200. Way too expensive for me and anybody else. That's a commercial starting price, not a homeowner price! I said the office quoted $120. I decided to go with another company and I recommend that you do also. The coit of several years ago, that I remember now gone, it was affordable and polite, now its tech's are pushy and non transparent.

editing this review because I am furious. I got a call to get my carpets cleaned with a 40% discount. I figured why not. I have a small theater platform that is maybe 30 square feet. a couch and 4 chairs. They tried charging $650 WITH the 40% discount. I was FLOORED. How is that even ok? So without the discount it would have cost me nearly 900 dollars? I feel completely ripped off. I gave gave them 2 stars because Kevin is courteous and timely but I just cannot believe what they charged me for such a small job. I should have asked for a quote up front but I will not be using this company again.
