Bungalow 8 always makes me feel beautiful when I leave. I appreciate how the salon takes time and explain each service to me. Thank you Eric and his team.

Long story short - best haircut I've ever had! (Stylist was Lauren Burns) I'm sure most stylists would consider me "difficult" - my hair is naturally curly, but I wear it straight or styled into waves. I always bring pictures of cuts and expect a typical consultation lasts 10-15 mins before allowing sheers near my hair. And almost always, I leave thinking "How long until this grows out? :( ".. NOT AT BUNGALOW/8! I'm new to the area, and researched many salons and stylists. I read reviews and asked for recommendations from friends. I finally decided on Bungalow/8 and because they are usually booked up for 8 weeks out (good sign!) I was lucky to scoop up a cancelled appointment with Lauren Burns. After booking, I went back to researching and was excited to learn that she is a very well educated, highly trained and knowledgeable stylist (as are most/all of the other stylists at this salon, I'm sure). Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and my appointment started on time. Lauren greeted me and gave me a quick tour (great salon, clean and modern!) and then she got to work. During my consultation we looked at photos, discussed what I liked, what I was looking for and what I did't want. She was very well trained and communicated what she was doing as she went (as opposed to a "big reveal"). Like I mentioned, I already had a bad haircut prior to arriving, but Lauren was able to set the proper expectation and did a fabulous job at reshaping the hackjob that I arrived with. I can actually say that I LOVE my haircut now and enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend Bungalow/8 and personally recommend, Lauren Burns!

I have finally found THE place to go to get my hair cut and styled. Megan did an awesome job with both my and my daughters hair. I walked out feeling like a million bucks and I can't stop smiling. Do not waste your time and money on any other salon. After so many disappointing salon experiences I finally feel gorgeous again. THANK YOU!!!

I had a consolation for a color correct and was told it would cost around $250. I t thought that was reasonable so I set the appointment. The season was great. The people were friendly, the stylist was awesome. When I went to check out and pay I about had a heart attack. $479!!!!! That's a long way from $250. I'm a normal everyday blue collar working woman, but I can't afford that!!! If money is no iron for you then this is the place to go. As for me, I can't afford to go back!

I had Lexi do my hair and she was super personable and friendly! She did everything I wanted her to do, including cutting my hair to donate it! I did not wait long in the waiting area and got offered a beverage right when I walked in. Great experience!

Easily the best place in Omaha if you want your hair to be of the highest quality. Want to have that hairstyle that that model has? Go here. The owner, Eric, is the best stylist I've ever had. He is also a fantastic conversationalist!

My hair stylist was great, but their front staff needs some work. Not only will they lie about sending a "reminder" email (which was never received), but they will lie about leaving voicemails on your phone. Due to this, I was charged for missing my appointment for a color/hair cut for an appointment that I had accidentally missed. I do not appreciate that type of service, and then getting charged for something that I would have ordinarily showed up for or rescheduled (which was not an option). Because of this, I will no longer be going to this salon, and will take my business elsewhere.

Bungalow 8 has an upscale, chill, eclectic vibe. I have had Jordan cut my hair 3 times so far and have not had a single bad hair day since! She is absolutely the best!

Don't get me wrong, my stylist is AMAZING, but their business practices are horrible. I was never notified that my stylist left the salon, and was told that my stylist randomly stopped showing for work, when I know that not to be the case. Notify your customers and be honest about it. Let it be their option to stay with your business or not, don't try to swindle customers by lying. Just shows the lengths you'll go through to make a buck.

I love this salon. I see Elise and she's wonderful. I would also like to take a second to appreciate their covid protocols and their dedication to keeping their staff as well as their customers happy and healthy.
