Blue Moon Fitness - Omaha South

This is one of the cleanest, well equipped gyms I've been too. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Limited stretching area but other than that, it's perfect!

I have been with Blue Moon for at least three years. The equipment is a little run down and there are a lot of treadmills that don't work, but I stayed with them because it was cheap and convenient. I had my credit card set up for automatic monthly payments and never had an issue until last month. Just like everyone, I was given a new credit card with a chip and got a new card number. I tried to call all of the places I had accounts with like this and give them my new information but must have forgotten about Blue Moon. I literally go to the gym 1-4 times a week and had been in several times and no one had ever said anything about having an "outstanding balance", so I was a little shocked when the person at the counter told me there was one. I said, are you sure? I was in here literally last week and no one said anything. Once we started talking about it, I realized it was because I got a new card number with a chip. I couldn't believe that I would have had late fees on my account for 2 months and NO ONE ever said anything to me about it?!?!?! I asked him why they wouldn't have said something sooner - sent an email, called, texted, sent a letter.....anything! He said that they have too many members and there's just no way to contact everyone. Instead, I just got charged the late fees and that was that - he didn't want to care, didn't apologize, didn't offer to take the late fees off even though I have never had payment issues. I was just shocked! I can put up with a few crappy machines to save a little money on a monthly gym membership but if you care about good customer service or even minimal customer service at all, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff is friendly and keeps the facility nice and clean. The equipment is typically in good shape and with smooth motion. Lots of machines to choose from. Plenty of benches, cardio equipment, and a couple of squat racks (even a hack squat and vertical leg press). The lack of dumbbell sizes (max 85lbs) and no dead lifting leaves my inner meathead wanting more. For the general enthusiast, this is a good place to train.

I have been going to Blue Moon Fitness for over 7 years. I love their group fitness classes. The instructors are amazing and they keep you motivated to keep coming back! They also have plenty of cardio equipment and a fantastic womens only area! At only 20 dollars a month for the VIP membership, it is a great value for a gym membership. I highly recommend checking out this gym!!

Great gym. Horrible people in charge. After trying to cancel my membership almost a month ago, I looked at my checking account today and had 3 charges of $30 because they kept trying to charge me. After I canceled. They're liars and crooks.

As far as value goes, you really can't beat it. This place is $10/month and the equipment is better than a ton of the other, more expensive gyms in town. It is overly crowded at times, but if you plan it during times you know other people are busy, you basically just have a giant gym to yourself.

Blue moon is the best gym in town! It's great because it's not intimidating and I feel comfortable working out there. Especially being a woman and having my own exclusive woman's only exercise room to work out in, you can't beat that! Thank you blue moon for giving me the the confidence to come to the gym!

Perfect! The management and staff are incredible-so is the cleanliness and pricing. Customer service isn't dead:) Love this place, can't imagine better. I paid 3x as much elsewhere for less amenities. Body pump instructors Nikki and Ron have taught me so much.

The group fitness classes would make this a great bargain, but the quality of most the instructors I've had in body pump, body flow, and body combat make it a truly outstanding value. In over three years regularly attending classes, almost every instructor has been very pleasant, enthusiastic, and helpful. I usually see at least one treadmill out of service, and about half the time, the first treadmill I try has some malfunction, with the TV or elevation for incline walking, but staff is always very pleasant when problems are brought to their attention. The only thing that makes me consider joining a different gym are the changes to the group fitness schedule, which seem to happen at least once or twice each year.

I have been with Blue Moon for almost two years. The staff is amazing, the equipment is always clean and in good working order, and best of all the other gym members are really nice. I have brought several friends and family members in over the last two years to join and they all love it too.
