Well now I just had the best experience after a meltdown from a flooded bathroom of my new home I just got in the last 60 days. My basement restroom shower floor drain backed up and flooded the restroom with about 4-6 inches of water! Within It happened at midnight and within 1 hour of a call to American Water Damage Keaton Wright came, gave estimate, spoke to insurance company and sent the Jeremy And Jeremy dynamic duo to tag team that damage! They got in answered my questions, explained to me the work they were doing, and cleaned up that mess. Within 24 hours of the incident I was relieved and planning me a new remodel for my bathroom within my budget. I will recommend them to anyone! Thank you American Water Damage job well done.

Following a basement flooding from a defective sump pump, American Water Damage was called. Alyssa, the receptionist professionally helped with the cleanup process immediately by beginning to line up the crew to remove and dry out the carpet for reconstruction to begin. Reconstruction was completed by a professional, knowledgeable, quick, and detailed crew by the names of Dianna/Mary. Excellent work! I had major damage to my kitchen due to a faulty dishwasher drain. AWD responded very quickly for my request to clean and dry out my floors. However, they moved too quickly and seemed to push me on major decisions. They started to cut around my cupboards and thus left holes in the floor and damage to the baseboards. They stored my furniture during the restoration process but when they returned it in October - I had a broken glass coffee-table top and scratches on my kitchen table. i have contacted them numerous times about the damage. They finally came to my home to assess the damage, a month ago, and I have not heard from them since. I understand that many businesses are short-handed but I don't believe I should be the one continually hounding them about this damage and the follow up.

Had some wet floors in the basement due to a broken pipe in the kitchen and had to have some demo work done to expose the pipes. Jeremy and Richard came over and did a great job. Super professional and extremely polite. Anyone anytime that needs this kind of work done should contact American Water Damage. I can only hopy you get Jeremy and Richard. They're the best!

I really, really recommend American Water Damage, as much as any company that I have ever dealt with, in any remodeling or construction aspect of my home or business!

American Water Damage - was stubborn on requiring 50% of estimate before beginning repairs (plus another 25% at 50% completion) in spite of our insurance approving the repair invoice. Our insurance rep said he hadn't heard of that in 30 years of doing business. All other repair companies only require your deductible to begin work knowing the insurance has approved and guaranteed the rest. Their loss on guaranteed $10K.

This business was referred to me by my Service One plumber. I did not do research, as I normally do because I trusted his judgement, being in the business. I can't comment on what other water damage business are like, but please do you research before using AWD. In my case, it was a two part job, the water damage fix then the reconstruction. I used them for the water damage but did not go forward with the reconstruction part. I did not use them for the reconstruction part, because of my experience with the water damage fix. I don't think they care very much, I had no confidence with dealing with American Water Damage any further.

One week for water damage restoration turned into almost over a month. We were told we cannot be home (they ripped out one of our walls) they keep adding days to completion. First 10 days, then 10 days, now 15 days from today until the date of completion. We have a toddler and where the wall has been removed would be dangerous+we are without a shower. The damage was to our subfloor, part of the foundation, and the shower pipe and the wall. They initially said they would replace the subfloor, shower, pipe, and flooring. Then after they ripped out the wall it turned into just placing fans towards the exposed shower, and keeping everything but the pipe (also they said there was A LOT of mold growth and they did not handle the removal correctly beyond spraying + we had a 100% water saturation reading over a week after the inital burst) I beg you to look elsewhere. Still can't be home and wasted our time. There is most likely structural damage to our home and the work and timeframe has been awful.
