I went to American Nails and Spa for the first time for dipped nails. I was sent out the door with the worst nails I have ever had and was very disappointed. Every nail was crooked. The ends were not rounded or smooth. The tops of the nails were thick and bumpy. The edges of my nails were rough and some were missing big spots of color. My thumb nails ended up being shorter than the nail I came in with after the nail extension was applied. I left with glue all over my nails and both of my thumbs were so sore from the excessive grinding directly on my own nail. I had another nail tech try to fix them but they were too far gone. I should not have been allowed to leave with the nails I received. Very unprofessional job.

I’ve been getting my nails done for the past 15 years. I have been to a TON of nail salons in my day and this one is one of the best. The atmosphere is relaxing and I always have a good experience. I highly recommend.

Decided to take all polish off my toenails for the Winter to let my nails breath. Ellie was very easy to work with and understood exactly what I wanted. She was also very gentle. I will use her the next time for sure! Salon was very clean and bright. It was easy to get an appointment and there was very little waiting.

I did not get what I wanted. What I wanted was a squared off french tip, and instead I got a rounded, arched, and lumpy shellac job. The first picture was what I showed the lady and the second one is what I got. However, they were very friendly and seating was fast.

I’ve been coming here for years and they continue to hit it out of the park. Fast, efficient, affordable and beautiful work. Lani did an amazing detailed manicure with design on a busy Sunday. 10/10 stars

Waited 45 minutes past my scheduled time. The next morning I noticed air bubbles which had popped. The acrylics were not close to my cuticle at all. I went to get them fixed and there is still an air bubble. You can also tell where the other ones had peeled. I asked if she could fill them more and she said no because the brush is too big to get that close. She also said that she was almost out of the color and she had barely had enough to finish the 2 accent nails. Never going back. Not worth $60. She was rushing the entire time.

I went 2 nights ago for a powder dip. The gal was rushing to get out of there. I got there at 7:20. It says they’re open til 9. But she was starting her car before she was done. If you look, you can see the designs don’t match. But the worst part is the 5 bleeding cuticles. Yes. FIVE. She had the grinder too high and it was hot. Two days later and my nail beds are still throbbing. The nails were not filed. The polish is bumpy and one nail has a corner chunk missing. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because she was nice. The workmanship is awful for the price.

I am the pickiest person when it comes to my nails, but I am SO happy with these nails!! Anna was so sweet and did an incredible job!!! I got dip powder for the first time on my natural nail! Can’t wait to come back to her again!!!
