We hired AJ's Landscaping to do a design landscaping install. I was unsure what exactly I was looking for and they put together an amazing design that exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend them.

TLDR: I called AJ’s company out for a quote, but I couldn’t afford the best solution that he recommended, so I’m writing a positive review of the process of getting a quote to make sure you (as a potential customer) know what his business offers. In short, based on the brief interaction, AJ seems to be a very professional contractor, and I would not hesitate to recommend at least inviting his company out for a quote to build a top-quality retaining wall. Details: AJ was a very nice, patient, professional contractor to talk to. We have a bulge in our retaining wall that needs to be repaired, so I called him out to get a quote. After his evaluation he pointed out that the retaining wall was made with insufficient materials with regard to the application, and needed to be torn down and replaced with heavier-duty materials. Fair enough; thanks for the insight, but money is tight right now, so we’re really just looking for a repair. While talking about the quote I also discovered that his company does not really do repairs for my situation. I completely understand, and I’m a little embarrassed to have called him out in the first place if repairs weren’t really something that his business does. Constructive criticism: it might have saved AJ a trip out if my initial request for repair had been screened earlier in the process. And that was basically it; I thanked him for his time, put a pin in the conversation to have the wall replaced (years from now), and we were done. Overall a good conversation, and I appreciate his patience dealing with someone who would not yet be taking advantage of the service. Ultimately, my advice to potential customers is to view AJ’s service as a very professional, knowledgeable company that takes great pride in their work, but that might be predisposed to replace rather than to repair, depending on the job. I would not hesitate to consider their offer if I wanted a new wall, but sadly will have to pass on the quote until it fits with the budget. If you decide to call them out for a quote, you can expect straightforward advice on the best long-term solution. I would definitely recommend AJ to others looking for no-compromise quality of work, and I mean that in the best way possible. I would deduct HALF a star because I think the process can be improved to screen calls better as noted above, but since I like to round up, I will leave it at five stars for the process of getting a quote. Here’s to hoping that I can give a review of a more thorough service, sometime in the future! Thanks, AJ!

AJ and his team did an outstanding job on our back patio, putting in a fire pit, bar and outdoor kitchen. Would recommend him to anyone and would use him again. He not only did the job on time and budget, but stands behind the work -- not something you always see.

Originally called AJ's to solve a water drainage issue in our yard. They completed this project in a timely, organized and cost efficient manner. We then followed up with a landscaping project. Their workmanship was professional and met our requirements.

I would definitely recommend AJs! They put in a retaining wall and removed some large old railroad ties from our backyard. Kolby put together an itemized list and plan in a timely fashion and was able to answer any questions we had. Our backyard looks great and his team got the work done so quickly!

Can't recommend these guys enough. We had them tear out and replace our front steps and a small retaining wall that had caused trouble for years. Took them a week. But a week of extremely painstaking work. Everything was measured, designed, cut and fit to a high level of accuracy. The employees showed up every day, worked all day under very hot and humid conditions and were very good about explaining what they were doing and why. We did have a few small complaints when they were done.....as we always do after a large project... and they returned within a week and corrected EVERYTHING. Now, unfortunately, the sod they laid looks better than the rest of my yard, so I have to start watering more. ;-) Great work!

AJ’s team was very professional, did an amazing job, we had large front and backyard they delivered and installed mulch. Plus edging around all the beds. Would recommend using them for your landscaping needs

AJ's Landscaping completed a paver patio for me in my backyard. AJ was easy to work with, open to my ideas, and had excellent communication and follow up. His crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The project was finished on schedule and was priced right. AJ Landscaping exceeded my expectations. I am extremely satisfied with the finished project and will call AJ for future projects.

This was our first time using AJ's Landscaping. We are SO pleased with the results! There were several workers here for our project and everything was completed within the timeline that was given. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them for future landscaping needs.
