Acadian Grille

Had Louisiana meatloaf and gritts. Was really good. Will be back again for sure to try more of their menu. Pt.2. Went back, tried more and it was still awesome. Just go already.

Food so BOMB you can't talk about it in an airport. With an unpretentious storefront and small single door entrance, this place is a literal hole in the wall that hides a gold mine. Absolutely everything is scratch-made fresh, so prepare to budget ~$15-20 a person. You will get what you pay for and then some. Elbow space is a bit tight but the place is spotless and the service fast and friendly. My personal recommendation is the blackened catfish "Po Boy" (pictured) with one small caution - anyone who isn't a hardened fire-eater like myself should have a full glass of icewater handy. Whatever they put on that fish is delicious to the point of addictive, but will make your breath fit to set the table on fire if you have too much at once.

Picked this restaurant simply because it was on our way to family event, and it was someplace new. However, we will be making the hour+ trip specifically to eat here again. I had the shrimp and grits (which I had never had before) and it was amazing. A whole new take on my idea of comfort food. Large portions, friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service. Do yourself a favor avoid the fancy food chains and give this a try...you will not be sorry!!!

This is a hard review; the food was good. Sadly, things were downhill from the start. The host could not locate our reservation so we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Additionally, they were out of most of the things we wanted to order. The worst, we ended up waited 90+ minutes for our food to arrive. We watched tables come and go while none of the waitresses came by to check on us. It turned out our ticket was lost but the fact that it took this long to notice while never checking on our table bombed the rating. I will say, on previous visits, this was not the experience. Overall, I will give them a chance at redemption some time down the line.

A good restaurant is as much about the people as it is the food and Acadian Grille has great food served by the nicest people you'll ever meet. The Black Cat is an amazing take on Cajun style catfish with a spicy and sweet combination that works perfectly together. The cornbread is just the way I like it, homemade in a cast iron skillet (at least that's my guess). Jennifer was charming and very helpful when deciding what to order. You can tell she takes great pride in her restaurant and was genuinely happy to have me as her guest. I'll be back to Acadian Grille on my next trip to Omaha.

First visit tonight! It was so good I wanted to leave a recommendation while I still sat at the table. All of our dishes, appetizers and drinks were wonderful. The flavors are fantastic. The 5 pepper cream, meatloaf, and smoked chicken thighs were our main dishes. All were very enjoyable. And the boudin balls are a must. Price point is good, wait staff was great and the owner even made a round to the table. Definitely a must for date night. Will return soon.

Amazing food I don't know what to say about this place anything from the Etouffee to Po Boy to the Cajun Meat Loaf and the Grits amazing never knew Grits could be so good and I don't even like Grits but I tried them with the Cajun Meat Loaf and was blow away. Also the service is amazing our server Roxi tonight was so hospitable, knowledgeable and accommodating she seemed to always show up at the right time. I highly recommend this place not over the hill expensive and still quality amazing food.

Been here twice now. Food was excellent and service was even better! Thier gouda mac with tasso is my favorite!

Food lacked any flavor and the sauce for the chicken dish was runny and again no flavor won’t be going back left most of the food on the table
