Westfield Small Animal Clinic

I'm not from North Platte but I travel through here quite often. 9 years ago in the early morning of July 4th we were traveling through when my little dog started exhibiting alarming symptoms. In a panic I called Westfield clinic. Dr Kelly came out at 5:00 in the morning, on a holiday and took care of my little dog. Today, driving through North Platte I realized I forgot some medication for the same little dog. last minute drop in at Westfield and they accommodated us like the pros that they are and they did it so very kindly. There are no words to describe my appreciation to the folks at Westfield Small animal clinic. Thank you, thank you, thank you for our kindness and compassion! Lisa and Ellie

My wife and I were traveling from Aurora, CO, to Illinois with our new puppy. We planned to stay overnight in North Platte. Our puppy took a turn for the worse coming down with Parvo. Westfield accepted her as a patient and for the next 5 days, brought our little Josie around and helped her turn the corner so we could get her home to see our Vet. I tip my hat to the entire staff and doctors there for saving Josie and mending our hearts. She is coming along well and we thank God everyday for Westfield. God bless you all. My animal had fallen ill and when we brought her here they misdiagnosed. I understand that type of thing can happen but when we took her to a different vet they were immediately able to detect the gigantic tumor without any extra examinations. Maybe she would still be here if they had taken the time to fully exam her. It doesn't help with how rude and unsympathetic they seem to be. Not to mention the extra charge they throw at you for canceling an appointment on them. I know I will no longer be bringing any of my babies here, I can hope the same for whoever reads this.

If you are looking for a vet, you couldn't do any better anywhere else in the world! I will never ever go to a different vet as long as I live anywhere in the area! Dr Kira earned my undying respect and gratitude late one night in an emergency. At the time, I was at a different vet and after my dog got into a bunch of pills and was essentially what I thought ODing, my vet couldn't be bothered to answer their phone or even days later return a phone call. As I said, I wasn't even one of Westfield Sandal Animal Clinic's clients and at 11:30 at night when I called the clinic number, the answering service was incredible. And as surprised as I was, within just a couple of minutes I was on the phone directly with Dr Kira. At that juncture, I didn't care what the bill would be - just help my dog... when I tried to go into pay my bill for the late night phone call, they would have none of it. Said they were just happy they could help. I decided right then and there that Kira and her staff will be The vet for all our family. Cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the way they treat my fur kids. As I said before, If you're looking for a vet you couldn't do any better anywhere! PS... Dog was okay and while The medicine that he got into was very bad for dogs he only took enough to sedate him very very very heavily. I'm pretty sure he had a headache the next day-But who among us hasn't woke up the next day with a headache :-)

My 8 month old female puppy wasn't feeling well. She saw one of the vets and the doctor explained the issue, she listened to my concerns, and answered my questions. The vets and staff are very nice and informative.

I love this place! My puppy ended up with sand burrs that got infected very quickly. They were amazing! Friendly and caring doctors and staff that will go out of their way for animals. Thankfully, they see all three of my babies

This place was great!!! I'm a semi truck driver and have an English bulldog I called after hours around midnight on a Saturday, because my dog was sick..The Doctor assured me not to panic and that he would be fine.. The doctor gave him medication. Bottom line, their service was awesome...

Dr. Bunde is amazing and takes the best care of my cats, whether it’s shots or illness. 20/10 would recommend. The techs and other staff are efficient and kind.

They staff here are all angels! And I appreciate them so much. Huge hugs and thanks to Dr Kautz and tech Dana. We have been going there for a few years. I love how gentle they are with my little ones. My fur girls are our children, and mean the wold to us. Our little girl (4lbs chihuahua) Miss Tilly was so sick I was taking her potty every hour for diarrhea. And they got her in and figured her out. She is almost back to her crazy self. If you want a amazing staff for your fur babies. This is the place. We will always be going here. I love that they know that we don't care what needs to be done to figure out what is wrong. Thank you again for caring for my sweet baby girl even though she growls at some of you.

We brought in our beagle for severe neck pain and they diagnosed and treated her in a very timely manner. She is a completely different dog now. Thank you so much.
