Roaches, which the maintenance man rudely denied. Filthy bathroom floors. Both Ice machines were broken. Broken tile everywhere. Nasty thin scratchy towels. The maintenance man should be fired and this place should be shut down by the health department. STILL havent gotten my money back either. Trust me, pay more for a different hotel. this place is gross and the staff are rude and incompetent.

Impossible to get a refund. After paying and then seeing room, friend felt unsafe and needed to stay some place else. Zero ability to get refund and no "common courtesy" from staff. Edit: In response to "owner", what I came to "understand" was that you were accustomed to dealing with a lot of unhappy customers and were trained to, no matter what, never ever issue a refund. The other ratings mentioning dirty beds, bugs, etc. corroborate our feelings. Not to mention it being nearly impossible to even enter the room because the door was set wrong.

This hotel had an amazing pool because of the depth and simply old fashion style, though colder because of being partly outdoors. This hotel is a throwback in time.

Actually got the best sleep I've gotten in years! Pet friendly and very affordable! Spent 4nights her. Not the cleanest place drawers and cabinets were broken, water shower would slowly go down the drain, but I did sleep very well! Best sleep I've had in a long time! Service was just okay. Not friendly, but also not rude! At least from my experience! I did hear many negative words from locals, but it was by far the best price for last minute stay when I came in to brule to visit family! I would recommend this place to anyone with a last minute trip!

We hardly ever leave reviews but want to spare others from the same experience at Travelodge by Wyndham Ogallala . We would recommend finding any other hotel option in Ogallala. After a long day of travel and a long wait to get our room (long line of customers to the door, their front desk printer was broken and they were having computer issues but hey this stuff can happen...) we were checked into a room with a wet bed and some type of dark coloring all over the sheets. We took photos and went to the front desk to see what could be done. There were no other rooms available and since the bed was not usable we had to leave. We left the keys with the night manager who was still dealing with a crowd of people and a broken computer and were told to contact the day manager in the morning to work everything out. We tried to call first but their phones were down. We stopped by in person and were told by the day manager that since we made the decision to leave that we would not be refunded. Showing pictures of the bed condition didn't help as he claimed he was the one who cleaned the bed himself. He said they have had many customers that try to rip them off. The conversation turned so many times I couldn't keep up. At one point we were told that according to their system he was the one who personally checked us in the prior night and we were there for a few hours. What? A simple resolution would be to check the security cameras to see exactly how long we were there for and to see that he definitely was not the one who checked us in. He refused and said he wasn't going to do that. We have reached out to Wyndham customer service to have this looked into further. It's not about the money but do the right thing dude. How do you expect someone to sleep in a wet soiled bed? Come on smalls!

My wife and I stayed here along our route cross country, and it was by far our favorite stop. The staff were lovely: friendly and helpful, and considerate to our needs—including going above and beyond to ensure our comfort was a priority. The room itself was the best we had for the price, and it included an exercise room which wasn’t available at any other of our “economy” stays. 10/10 would stay here again.

Spend a little more and go elsewhere! This has to be the worst place in the area by far. The property failed to provide the 2 bed room I booked for 2 nights so I agreed to take a king for night 1. The rancid smell was so horrid I tried my best to air it out but it was still very strong. It was so late after the horrible long process just to get a “clean” room otherwise I would have left that night. With all the negative experiences and having to check out of my room to change I opted to stay elsewhere the next night. After waiting at the front desk for over 20 minutes to resolve the issue I left a note. While leaving the desk worker finally showed up and I explained the situation. She said she would take care of it. I never got my refund and when I finally reached the manager after days of calling several times I reached one of the rudest people I have ever met. I would recommend absolutely avoiding this place.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Beds were clean and comfy. During our trip across country, we actually hit a racoon. And when we came to the hotel to rest for the night and look over the damages, one of the staff members offered to help us patch up our car so we could keep going! It's people like that, that makes me want to recommend a place.

One of the best inexpensive motels I've ever visited, very stylish and beautiful. Clean, quiet and safe. The room is bright and cozy and you can't beat the price. I would give it 5 stars, but they charge $100 security deposit and there was no any chair for the working desk. Also they have no cable, but they do have a mini fridge, a microwave and a nice coffee maker. Unfortunately half of the services like breakfast they don't provide because they invented a time travel machine and moved back to covid pandemic times. Please don't tell them it's ended, people have to believe in something.

An actually decent motel for a good price. Sheets were not dirty, the decor/aesthetics are relaxing, no bug infestations, comfy bed, working ice machines, and the ONLY motel I have been to where the AC filter was actually clean! My only complaint is that, when I turned on the bathroom light, a lightbulb popped and started smoking... seems like an electrical hazard that they better fix for safety. Also the staff seemed pretty disinterested in helping with your stay, but they were never overtly rude and they always did their jobs. Overall, I'd recommend staying here if passing through this part of town.
