Thrifty Car Rental

First time in ages i have not been on unlimited miles...and they tack on 4% for using a charge card which you dont know til you get there. Last time i will use them

NEGATIVE 5 STAR OR 10 For all that goes. Lie about return time, cost extra $140. Lie about the refund check/ deposit. Should be to you shortly, 6 weeks later. Not a sign of any responce, except the bank. All Because mgr. Left early no one could print a return slip. Only employee was unqualified.

If I could give zero stars I would. We called earlier this week to reserve a rental of a Yaris and were told by their employees just come in Saturday and we will take care of you. We come in like they said and they have given our car away and ruined our vacation. Of course no other car metal places are open and we now don’t get to have vacation. We are very upset and it will not end with just this review I will be calling corporate and getting to have them give my children and explanation of why they can’t go on a vacation they have been waiting for all summer. Horrible customer service. Horrible business’s

Zero stars here also, waiting to see if Thrifty's Social Media and or Executive Customer Service team can make it right. I was the victim also from Thrifty's North Platte ridiculousness. I rented a car May 7, 2021 at 6:46pm and returned car on May 9, 2021 at 10:30am, yet they say I didn't return car until Tuesday May 11, 2021. I've got United Airlines boarding pass in my name for May 9, I've got a receipt for purchasing luggage in my name for May 9. Check the cameras, check with TSA, check with the restaurant manager, I was on the waiting list, couldn't get in on May 9 which was mothers day as it was very busy. I did as instructed when the Thrifty counter was closed. I put the keys in drop box, i parked the car where I was supposed to. The customer service agent at North Platte said she was "allowed" to refund only one day! NOT ACCEPTABLE, REFUND both days IMMEDIATELY!

Got stuck in Colorado right on the border to Nebraska for a family trip, myself and my 3 kids. Was told I would be able to rent from them so I got and paid for a ride to the airport where they were located. Upon my arrival I was told I would not be able to be rented to. I explained I was stranded and that now I was stranded even farther away with no hope to get myself and children to our destination. I was very rudely greeted by a woman sitting at the counter of the business and told to get a taxi if I didn’t have a ride back. She was so disrespectful in her job I’m not sure how they employed her. The other young man who looked like they got him from a dark alley in a bad side of New York was no more helpful as he just looked dumbfounded and barely said anything. I will NEVER rent from here ! And I will make sure to let EVERYONE I know that they should never rent from thrifty or hertz ever!!!!! 🙄😑🤬🤬🤬 ANYONE READING THIS ENTERPRISE CAME THROUGH ANDGOT ME A CAR SO GO THERE!!!!
