I recently moved here from Colorado. Me and my brother were actually homeless for 2 years due to identity theft. I was very excited to come get fresh produce! One gentleman explained grab a cart and your next.. he was very nice, so were all the gentlemen. There was a lady in a wheelchair checking people in. I said hello, and she didn't even look up, say hello nothing. I thought well she's busy. Then she said Name? How many. I said thank you so much. Have a great day. She said nothing! There was a lady in her car who said something to her. I heard her say no it's fine if they really mean it. I couldn't hear the rest of what she said. I felt very unwelcome by her! I'm not sure why she is a volunteer if she doesn't like people! I did nothing but try to be nice and thankful. She really made me feel like I was not worthy. The gentlemen that were there were so nice, they made me feel a bit better. I think next time I will ask her what I did to make her treat me that way ( If she's rude again) I'm a super friendly, and so thankful for her and everyone who helps people like me and my brother. I will say a prayer to the Lord, and ask him to put some light in her ❤️ heart. Maybe she didn't realize how her words and curt attitude made me feel unwanted. I've so had enough of being looked down on for 2 years! I just want a warm smile, maybe a hello or good day ...
