North Platte Area Children's Museum

Very fun place for kids! We enjoy coming here...Could definitely use an update though and the pedal train could use some oil for its squeaky tires. A ramp to make it handicap accessible would be amazing so handicap adults, children, elderly could come and enjoy as well! Some soft-fun kids background music would be nice to create fun relaxing atmosphere instead of silence.

My twenty month old had so much fun! It only costs $4 per adult and under two is free. My son loved the slide in the transportation room and it was a good way to burn energy on a rainy day. As a parent, I got bored after about an hour and a half and I don't think this would be a great choice for kids older than kindergarten as most of the exibits are for younger kids.

Had a great time and the kids had a lot of fun. However it would be great if the staff would make people follow the rules. A lot of children were unattended and there were children shoving and pushing and trying to not let the smaller children play. The staff did not seem concerned with what was going on and were more concerned with cleaning toys up.

What an AMAZING place for kids to play! My kids can't wait to come and play, and I can't wait to see what my little ones are going to learn the next trip this clean, safe and caring Childrens Museum .

Lots of fun interactive things for the kids to do

Fun place to play, DO NOT BOOK A PARTY IF IT MIGHT SNOW. Staff was incredibly rude on the phone asking to reschedule a birthday party booked weeks in advance because it *might* snow tomorrow. Tried to make it seem like they were doing me a favor by offering a discount to reschedule. I am in the service industry and have owned a business for the last 5 years. The decision to cancel last minute was obviously due to staff laziness not the weather. Deposit on rental paid weeks ahead, 30+ invites went out, food and cake ordered, and less than 24 hours notice it's canceled because of typical Nebraska weather. Inflexible, inconsiderate, condisending voice tone during the call. All behavior from the woman I spoke to was the opposite of how you'd expect to be spoken to by someone who runs a place like this. No one can control the weather but we can each control how we speak to people and how we conduct ourselves in a respectful way. They didn't apologize at all. They insinuated that I was being unreasonable by not gleefully agreeing to reschedule.

Great place for kids to roam and play through multiple themed areas. The yearly pass is a great deal and is a good place to have kids do birthday parties and events. They do have a minor issue of stuff being damaged by rambunctious children and they do their best to repair/replace those items A Keurig is in one area for parents to access. Some of the areas are somewhat difficult for an adult to access, one is a construction area with a 5 ft door and ceiling and I'm 6'3", but that is rather minimal Tldr great place for kids to play and explore

This place has always been such a fun, interactive & even educational place to take your grandchildren! Perhaps if I took the family & went at another time of day it would’ve been more fruitful… All I will say is I recommend drug testing your employees, one female in particular. Really unprofessional to say the least, especially around the kids.. Might be a while before we return. But don’t let our experience make you lallygag on giving it a shot. Your kids will have a blast!

Fun interactive play with themed rooms. This museum contains a doctor room, dress up, building station, farmers market, music, black light, transportation, kitchen, pizza station and a pirate ship.

Kids loved it. Stayed 2 hours with kids ranging from 1 to 17 all having a great time. Renovations going on in 2 rooms, but still plenty for kids to do. Staff was very nice. Manager is proactive in making sure museum guests get good customer service.
