Never go to small engine counter and expect to be treated like a customer. Don't go in there's expecting any help on something that has no model number even for something as simple as a viton o ring. They well just tell you to bad cant help with cause the are to lazy to do anything where a computer won't tell them what they need. Worst service center ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Spent less than a minute at the counter to get very rudly turned away

I want to thank the guys at the North Platte Nebraska Napa store!! I had a rear turn signal go out on me today. On my way to the store I got a call from my sons (non verbal autistic) school saying he fell and got a big bump on his head and that they thought I should pick him up a little early. So I swung around and picked my son up first then drove straight to Napa to get my turn signal bulb. As soon as we walked into the store we were welcomed and asked if they could help us find anything. I said i needed a 3457 bulb for my turn signal and the gentleman walked me over to the bulb section and handed me the bulb i needed. While me and the guy were talking my son noticed the toy napa trucks high up on the shelves and was pointing them out to me. I had to tell my son I couldn't get him one today, but maybe next week we'd come back and get one. We walked up to the counter to pay for my bulb, another gentleman rang us up and was very kind and we chit chatted about working customer service and retail. After I finished paying we started walking to the door when another gentleman walked up to my son with a dusty toy truck still in the box and said "Excuse me young man, this truck is a bit dusty and I was wondering if you could take it home and look after it for us?" I wish on everything that I could have gotten a picture of my sons face lighting up and him saying WOW!! I'm still in tears over that simple kind gesture to my son. To all the guys at Napa in North Platte Ne, you are all absolutely wonderful and I cannot thank you enough for making my sons day the way you did!!

My minivan broke down on I80 and we limped to a truck stop. When I called around, Andersen and Son were the most helpful, admitting that they didn't have my alternator in stock (it's a rare one) but could get it from Denver by the morning. But then! They told me they might be able to repair my existing part, and here is where this place completely won me over. The technician drove out to me, more than three miles, picked up my part, took it back to the shop, and then replaced the armature and brushes. And then, he drove it back out to us. My family and I will be back on the road soon, thanks to this shop and their above-and-beyond attitude!

Buy all my car parts here. But will never use their small engine shop again. Cost me $100's and problem was not fixed. A friend mentioned another place. Walked in, told the guy what the mower was doing. He said it is the coil, went and grabbed the part and fixed it at my home, cost me less for the part and him fixing it, than it did at NAPA for them doing nothing.

Worst customer service. Over the phone or in person. They act entitled, and like they are doing you a favor for being there. Your best chance of getting any decent customer service there is talking to a younger kid (who may not know much). The fat man and rest of his deplorables are lazy and don’t want to be there as much you don’t want to be. And it shows! Prices are high there. Over priced. And ther is other machine shops around it you need that. Don’t waste your time or energy with this place. Very frustrating , sad places like this stay open. Plan ahead buy online , do your own research you will be thankful.

Rob worked for an hour to find the perfect filter for my antique truck, can't ask anymore from anyone. I have done business there for years and you have to admit Napa has more on hand than anyone else in North Platte. I remember Lyle working his butt off for two days to get me a gasket for my carburetor. It cost about $3.00! A+++

Just spent $600 on my riding lawn mower doesn't run any better than when I took it in to get fixed! How hard can it be to get things fixed right! So tired of being ripped off and they say support local businesses, kinda hard with this type of service.

Had been a fairly regular customer. Always bought my filters from them. Stu has been a great guy and always helpful genuinely a great parts guy. The other jokers at the front counter though the last couple times I’ve been in it felt mediocre at best. This trip had to be about the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at any auto parts store. Gave it two stars only because I actually finally did get my part and it works otherwise it would be 1 star. People wonder why North Platte residents are shopping out of town? This is exactly why. Absolutely terrible customer service and poor inventory !!!. I don’t know what’s going on in there over noon hour but it is pretty sad. As a mechanic myself working in a professional shop amongst some very talented professional parts associates I would say the customer service and attitudes I saw here on this visit was way below expectations for professionals and was quite embarrassing giving the national reputation of NAPA. I don’t know who is training these guys but they are terrible. No greeting, no smiles , no voice projection, only mumbles and grumbles. It’s like they were on auto pilot. no one knows how to look up a part outside the store computer system um hello pick up a parts book and find it. Don’t just tell the customer a lie about “ow that doesn’t come up in our computer so it has to be a special oem only part” because your too lazy to look a part up manually through a catalog or internet. They fed me a line of BS which I didn’t appreciate ( I later found the part they didn’t want to take the time to find for me within a minute of google search.and proceeded to order it) The other part which took forever for them to find had to be ordered was not accurately stated to me about shipping time nor was the cost of the part told to me.Was told next day or day after now I have no issue paying $12 freight if the product is delivered next day or day after. But 3 days after the order day meaning essentially 4 days? That should have been free shipping. Nothing that small takes 4 days to ship even coast to coast if freight is being paid. You cannot tell me it honestly takes 3 days of actual shipping to ship a part from Montana to Nebraska! What was the shipper using, a team of horses and wagon? In fact they lost a Honda mower sale from me last fall cause they wanted to charge like $115 freight to get me the mower I wanted. Budke Honda had it in stock and about a $100 cheaper off the sticker price. They also falsely represented themselves as a Honda dealer which they are not. Their business does not show up as a certified Honda dealer with Honda power sports. So naturally Budke got my business. I’m sorry but this ordeal was the last straw for me in several visits that have resulted in nothing but disappointment and frustration. In summary Retrain or rehire store associates so they can actually communicate between themselves and accurately and clearly communicate to the customer, stock some dang parts and find a new shipper cause this is just an unacceptable way to do business. Till then I don’t think I will be back. Good luck.

Well we got the bulb for our blower. Thought the price was high. Before this visit we went there for a new head for weed eater. they said they could not get one for us. We went on ebay and found a head and put it on our self.

Decent selection. Like every place, not a lot of parts knowledge for older cars.
