Margaritas North Platte

The Nachos were a little on the over done side, for my liking, BUT the kids really liked them. We were amazed at the portion size. We usually eat at the Margaritas in Ogallala, but I think the portion sizes are larger here. We weren't able to eat it all, but everyone loves left overs. I had the Carnitas. They were tender and delicious. This will be a place we will have to stop in to again the next time we visit North Platte.

Had a great server. The food was hot, delicious and large quantities. It's an old building, and it shows, but it rather adds to the atmosphere.

Entrees were decent though nothing too special. Desserts were worse. The real kicker was the waiter being impatient and rude when he told me THEY were out of the dessert I ordered so I had to look at the menu again. He was terrible from the moment we sat down. What a shame, we would have come back to give the food another try but I'd rather not run into the waitstaff again.

Disappointed in the service. My company placed a large catering order and a dressing was forgotten. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. It was a $15.95 shrimp salad, and the dressing is definitely an important ingredient. I called and politely asked them to bring some (5 minutes drive), and they wouldn’t. We were having a work event, so leaving was inconvenient, but I didn’t want to waste a salad and decided to drive there. The bartender who helped me seemed annoyed that I even called about the dressing, let alone came to the restaurant to get it. He was very rude and not once apologized for the mistake or the inconvenience. I wasn’t even upset about the missing dressing until I was treated so rudely by the employee. After I returned to work, turns out at least 2 meals were missing and multiple items were missing.

Seated quickly, received chips and yummy salsa, ordered, (only handsome young men are employed), were served quickly, our food was exceptionally good and authentic. We were checked on frequently. Very enjoyable.

The Server was very nice (Slender Man with shaved head), however the place itself is dirty, sticky floors, no soap in restroom, overflowing trash can, sticky Salt & Pepper shakers, and the dining room is full of smoke with Guests coughing. The Server deserves to work somewhere more upscale in my opinion. Never serve wrapped up silverware in napkins. Always a sign of a bad place. He did fullfil my request to provide napkins and cutlery separate without a confused or dirty look. Also in the parking lot empty beer cans. The food was served almost too fast. But the food is good. From one star to two stars for that. Usually when a place is dirty means Management is not doing their job overseeing the place. And if a place serves alcohol their focus is on those sales.

My friend Terry and I travel the country selling furniture for local stores. We have been here 6 weeks we have ate hear at least 10 times. When most restaurants treated us like outsiders you welcomed us. Your food is amazing your service is better. I wish you the best. Thank you

The service here is above satisfactory. The menudo is amazing. It will not disappoint you. I will come back again and again.

Skeptical cause we live in Jefferson City MO. However, this is the first Mexican restaurant we have enjoyed outside of our area. The salsa was spicy and good. Not too Spicy, I’m not a fan of HOT. I personally had the street tacos. Loved them. My daughter who lives here in North Platte loved hers. The staff were very attentive. I usually go for ambiance and the food is a plus. Thank you and when we come back to visit we will definitely frequent.

Drinks were good. Lots of options to choose from. Quick service! Large servings of delicious food.
