At first I thought it was odd housing ,we met kimmie the owner she made us feel very comfy an very friendly. Rooms are warm very large an very clean she even made home made cookies wow. would recommend this place hands down the price was very reasonable you will be very happy .

Clean rooms and friendly proprietor! I was traveling with my elderly mother and really enjoyed the quiet setting. Lots of birds flying through and chattering in the morning and evening. Kimmie is a great host! This isn’t 5 star in the fancy hotel sense but it was for my purposes, plus it has great access to recreational activities.

Owners were beyond hospitable, room was extremely clean, such a unique set up, comfortable and the ability to rest while there was amazing. Off a quiet road, and the bed was super comfy!! Was passing through, but would absolutely stay again!!! I was traveling with my daughter and our chickens (moving across the country) and they loved ranging in the side yard for a bit before we left!!

when you travel and spend so much time from home. Kimmie and Wayne made it feel like home. I'm leaving today and have a emptiness. It is the best place to stay in Nebraska. The hospitality is amazing. I will be talking about that place all the way back to California. Thank you lewellen lodge.

Nice quiet motel in a former assisted living center. Comfortable and clean. Kitchenette with small fridge and a microwave. Excellent service and reasonably priced for the area.

Not fancy but spacious and comfortable. Honestly, it's not for everyone. Great base location to explore western NE. Also a nice location for Sandhill cranes in March.

Kimi was an excellent host: friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was an asset. The price was reasonable, too. Off the beaten track, to be sure. But within easy striking distance of some remarkable places in western NE.

Kimmie was so sweet and helpful. Wayne was awesome and helped us check in and even brought me a hairdryer in the morning! We loved staying here on short notice and recommend to anyone who stays in the area to book here.

Top of the line. More like an apartment, they have some dishes, a microwave, fridge and counter space, a bedroom and a big bathroom. Kimmie and Wayne are the best people. Cozy, comfy beds, fluffy towels. Better than any hotel or chain motel you'll ever find. They allow semi parking. This is also the first place we've stayed, that our youngest hasn't ended up bloody. Very family friendly.
