83 Motel

Over the course of three hours since my check-in, I killed three cockroaches. Two of them were pretty big. After cockroach number 3, I decided I had enough and wanted to be moved to a different room. The employee there treated with suspicion and asked for proof (which was flushed down the toilet beforehand, unfortunately), and telling me this "wasn't possible, since we had the room sprayed". Why would I lie about this? Makes no sense (I just wanted a different room, not a refund). Conclusion - cockroaches and BAD customer service.

Just the right spot when we needed it. Rolled up at 2am without a reservation and they accommodated me with a smile. Thank you!!

I was in Sutherland for a job. I was only there for 2 nights. 3 months later, my wife and I realized we have bed bugs infestation. This is not something I wanted for Christmas. Now we are left paying for a Exterminating bill. Believe me, it is not CHEAP. If I'm ever in North Platte again and need a place to stay this is definitely not the place I will pick. In my opinion! stay away!!! take time to spend an extra dollar or two for a nicer place. Or spend the money later on Exterminating for whatever you never know what will come out of there.

Very comfortable. We arrived late and they had only a pet room and a smoking room left. We took the pet room and it had no noticable "petness" at all. I may have chosen differently if I had any allergies. The included breakfast was fine too. Not fancy but well maintained.

My experience was wonderful! My room was clean and management was very nice/helpful. Thumbs up! I will stay there again.

Another small place, not a chain, just clean quiet, and safe. We were there during a big storm. There was a power outage during the night, but everything was quickly restored. Treated well by the owner.

Clean room and adequate comfort. The bed is a bit firm but it didn't bother me at all.

Well not the best not the worst place to stay. The bed in my room was to hard, also I stayed by myself, but was charged the same as a room with two people in it. I was charged 300.00 a week for a single bed room, but I know for a fact that other guys that stayed at the hotel in the same room together were charged 300.00 a week as well. Also there is no breakfast anymore do to covid or whatever so those pictures on of the place should be discarded. Also the pool is permanently closed, the parking lot is small, other than that I guess it's ok. But I won't be back here to stay because the owner wouldn't give me a price break, and for the other reasons aswell.

Microwave didn't work, slime-like substance in multiple spots on the floor, toilet paper was nearly gone when I checked in. And worst of all there were bedbugs! Called the front desk and told him there were bugs and the guy acted like I was crazy. $75 for a night stay and feel disgusting afterwards. Thanks for nothing!

Nice little hotel, clean. Was a good place to lay our heads to rest for the night.
