These guys are a step above!! From Clara at the register to Sahari at the pro desk and everyone in between, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable!!! As a contractor, I prefer Home Depot over any of their competitors.

Just like the other box stores, they have good stuff and not so good quality stuff. Their Halloween stuff is A1 if you are fast to get and order in online, or they just happen to have it in store? If not, the order and wait time for their vendor(s) has some wait time considering the bottle knock at the ports for the stuff to come from overseas!

I am very disappointed that certain businesses have decided to do away with cashiers and want people to wait on themselves. I have refused to shop at the 85th Street Wal-Mart for this reason and will seriously reconsider any future purchases with Home Depot.

Abdul helped me on a Friday night find the solution to installing my new water heater at home. He even instructed me on how to use the crimping tool and all the correct parts to complete the job. Without him my family would have been without hot water for the weekend.

Don't bother going to this store. What you want has a high probability of being locked up, requiring an employee to get it out, which I find amusing as they mostly have self checkouts. Good luck finding an employee who is available and knows the correct location to look for a specific tool. It was so bad that I just left after being unable to get help and ordered the items I wanted online to pick up in store (I did this from the parking lot) I was promised it would be ready in 2 hours and it was over 4 hours to close of the store. I was OK with that (not happy to jump thru hoops having to order online, but OK), but here it is 15 hours later, and my order is still not ready. This store has gone severely downhill in the last couple of years. Guess I will need to find a different location if I need something specific to Home Depot, and I suggest you do the same.

Does anyone work there? Wasn't greeted. Nobody asked me if I needed help. And good thing I didn't find what I needed because no one was at any of the registers. Could hear forklifts but couldn't find them to try to flag an employee down.

After initally waiting 35 minutes for help with a forklift to access and purchase 2x4s, I again searched out help. They then said, "we have some right here", pointing to teeter-totter boards. I told them those are other people's rejects, I'm not purchasing those. All this is okay, but then I found that they were servicing customers that were here after me and that's why the forklifts are unavailable. I've wasted an hour in the store waiting for 2x4s. There's a Menards next door and the service there is vastly better than this store.

Asked a newer staff member about a location, and he promptly knew a more experienced staff member who was able to point it out. Friendly and quick directions. Everything I needed was well stocked, and store navigation is quick with the signage all the way down to specific 5 foot sections. Not really enthused about how the management pushes the cashiers about the credit card though. Maybe for people who are remodeling but to push that on every customer? Cashier was friendly and took the no for an answer tho.

****Attention General Contractors**** This store won’t accept excess Materials to be returned. Caution builders when buying in bulk. Chelsea informed rather Rudely of this new policy since 2022 so you’ll’ have to keep your materials if you purchased in bulk and didn’t use. As a General Contractor I don’t recommend using this supplier.
