I had been suffering for several months with left foot pain that would at times keep me up at night. A friend told me about Taylor Creek PT and PRI. I got a referral and then made an appointment. On my first visit to Taylor Creek PT Kristi quickly got to the root of the problem. With new shoes and orthotics from Dr. Coffin I was on the way to recovery! Next Kristi taught me about left leg awareness and how certain movements and exercises could also help the back and hip pain that I dealt with off and on. I am so grateful for a solution to the pain! Thanks to Kristi and Dr. Coffin that pain that kept me up at night is gone! The PRI techniques Kristi taught me are truly amazing!

The first time I walked into Taylor Creek I was a bit skeptical. I have spent a significant amount of time the last 8 years in Phoenix Arizona working with some of the best physical therapists and chiropractors in the country. As an athlete and trainer/coach of some of Northeast Nebraska's finest athletes I was looking for the same attention and methodology that I was accustomed to at EXOS in Phoenix. Taylor Creek's staff delivered on this 100%. I would recommend Taylor Creek to not only the athletes I train but to my friends and family as well.

Today I finished my therapy after my shoulder surgery. I had the most wonderful experience. I enjoyed walking in the office each and every time, just knowing that they were there to help me. Looking back to my first visits after my surgery, it was definitely not fun. However, Ben and Amy worked with me to get me back to normal activities. I would highly recommend Taylor Creek and their team. A+ to all of them.

Today was my last day at Taylor Creek! I say this with an exclamation because I'm so excited to share what I've gone through the last year. I had surgery for my sciatic nerve. I chose Taylor Creek because of the approach they use, PRI (Postural Restoration Institute). It's not just about your specific pain. It's about how to restore the whole body so you have little or no pain. For me that included eyes and dental. I had mono vision surgery in 2007. Little did I know that surgery would set my body in a downward spiral. My brain didn't know how to handle it so I started walking wrong. I was also exhausted all the time and did very little exercise because my brain was trying so hard to compensate for what my eyes were seeing. Ben was able to see that my improvements weren't what they should have been. So he sent me to the eye portion in Lincoln. Within 2 months of getting my exercise glasses I had improved enough to go every other week. Shortly after that I wasn't having to use my mouth piece to help my neck pain (another issue they were able to help me with). Today marks working with the team at Taylor Creek almost a year. In that year I have gotten stronger, have less pain and have more energy. Ben taught me exercises to maintain my alignment. I'm so grateful and highly recommend them.

I am very grateful I came to Taylor creek Physical Therapy and met Kristi Jagels and her crew❣️ I am a runner and at 57 years old have my story to tell. My 1st visit to Taylor Creek was May 2019. I was in a lot of foot pain for several months, could barely walk across the yard to throw the garbage in the dumpster. Feeling down (not knowing what was going on) because I had been running well in several distance races. I was to Sunny Meadow medical clinic & saw Dr. Pruden, she took 3 x-rays of each foot and determined I had plantar fasciitis in one foot and a heel spur in the other. Getting out of bed each morning was a very slow and painful process. Luckily her first choice for me was PT before surgery. She asked where I wanted to go. I quickly texted my sister Lisa Beller remembering her family spoke highly of a PT place. It was Taylor Creek! I had Never been to a physical therapist, chiropractor or anything of the such as I was skeptical of their practice. I always tried to eat healthy and be active. At 55 in 2019 was placing at a lot of races in my age group, running several half marathons at 1:56, even finished a 21.21 mile trail race at the top. When I first went to Taylor Creek I could barely walk in the door because of pain. Kristi took me and listened to my details of what was going on as my pain level was a 9 on a 1-10 scale. Immediately Kristi has a trusting way about herself. She had so much valuable information for me to absorb. She went over what shoes I was running in and wearing for everyday - most were wrong. Kristi fit each foot in a mold to send to Dr. Coffin for my custom orthotics and she had the good arch supports for the shoes I was wearing. Then I had several more visits going over my mechanics, doing exercises and blowing in a crazy balloon😚, learning how breathing is a big part also. Taking this all home to do and going back again. Before you knew it I left with almost zero pain and a lot I had learned. I honestly thought I would never run again when I went, but got back to how I was before it all began. Sept. 2020- Then comes pain in my left knee that would not go away so I went back to the Medical Clinic with a pain level of a 9 again. It was time for harvest and I run the combine every year. After sitting I could barely stand for the left knee pain so I took which ever Dr. was available just to get an answer (it was not the same Dr.). She took x-rays and it showed arthritis in my knee. This Dr. suggested a knee sleeve to wear all the time except during a race, and going to a Lincoln orthopedic place for stem cell treatment, ozone treatment or cortisone shots. I even had her contact her Lincoln recommendation to get my appointment scheduled for injections. I couldn't believe this was happening. I thought about it a couple days, then I went to Kristi for advise. We all are likely to end up with some form of arthritis and some things can be changed to help. Like even how I stood in church and put my left foot. How I slept, drove the car & sat in my office chair. Never! dangle your feet from the combine seat (I'm 5' 3 1/2"), my oldest son made a block of wood just to fit where my feet/knee were the perfect height. New exercises, breathing & the correct positions for everything from standing by the kitchen sink to do dishes to the right way to sleep to wake up pain free. According to Kristi, I have a new last name- "Left Hip Back" So far little pain and no knee sleeve, no regular injections (which only disguises what you are doing wrong) or no surgery. Kristi cares, you can tell she loves what she does. She changed my life. Thank you Taylor Creek Physical Therapy!! 💞

I have struggled with muscle tightness/knots, pain, and lack of movement in my neck and shoulder for years. After my cervical disc replacement my muscles were so tight and I developed deep knots that also caused constant pain and lack of motion. I have had injections, massages, cupping, went to other Physical therapists and all of those only treated the symptoms- which made the muscles feel better for a moment (if even), but then it would be back. The staff at Taylor Creek as been nothing less than amazing from the moment I called. Kristi understood what I was going through and told me she would be treating the cause of the pain- in addition to symptom relief. She treats her patient with holistic care. At my first appointment she evaluated all systems to find the root of what was causing the pain/muscle tightness. We have worked on posture, vision, breathing, strengthening exercises as well as other things. Kristi has never given up on me and I am confident she will get me to a pain free life and being active again!! I already have much less pain and more movement in my neck then I have ever had. For anyone experiencing muscle knots/tightness the dry needling is amazing!! She can get those muscle knots that are too deep for anything else to work. It will give your muscles enough time to relax for the exercise's and other things she has you work on do there job!! She truly provides holistic care, is caring, and is determined to get you pain free!!

I am a college student studying physical therapy. I went to Taylor Creek to observe and gain a better understanding of PRI and physical therapy in general. I was blown away by the way the PT's and PTA's took care of their patients. Taylor Creek really strives to make sure their patients leave feeling 100% better than when they left. They will go as far as dental and vision to find the solution to your pain. Observing at Taylor Creek reassured me about becoming a physical therapist and being able to help patients live a normal painless life.
