Super 8 by Wyndham Norfolk

The guy at the front desk was nice but I checked in at 1AM and didn't fall asleep till like 3 because of the loud mini refrigerator, housekeeping woke me up at 8AM and kept knocking every 30 min! Room was okay but had a broken window old sheets with dingle berries on them, shower head was full of calcium spraying everywhere except in the shower. For $90 per night I expect a bit more, if it was like $50 I'd give it 4 stars, -1 star for cleaning lady knocking b4 checkout at 11...

Nothing. Smelled. Bathroom was dirty. Was freezing cold in the rooms. Rude staff.

The floor was wet, the towels were ragged, the toilet seat was very loose and the overall cleanliness of the room was not great. However, they did move us to a room with a dry floor. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was yummy.

I am only giving this "hotel" a two star rating because of the nice owner and his attempts to make our stay comfortable. Otherwise it would be a one star. Now for the review:. The bed was comfortable and clean. The window unit ac was cold but not adjustable. It was sweat or freeze. The bathroom was ok on cleanliness but the tub shower was frightening. Someone had, in their wisdom, tried to tape down a bath mat and then, after years of staining the tub, decided to remove it. The tub was clean enough but the visual was appalling. The shower had a great "power washer" strength shower head and the temp was good. The sink and toilet were clean enough until you noticed the icky yellowish towels that should have been crisp white. I would recommend this motel to folks that are traveling in pairs as a solo person may feel uncomfortable. Go with God fellow travelers!

The bathroom wall had dirty steam marks dripping down it. The bathtub floor had a mat covering previous slip stickers and was dirty. (CLR and a razor blade works great for this guys)The linens on the beds were yellowed from too much use, seriously, invest in new ones. No smoking rooms, but the hallway reeked of cigarettes. Cleaning details matter.

Was right in the middle of town close to all the businesses. Very friendly staff.

Super 8 Norfolk Nebraska $70.00 a night 🌙 Non smoking building that smells badly of cigarettes 🚬 I think that was blood on the wall or possibly spit with some blood in it 🤔 Pretty sure the hair dryer doesn't work but I didn't want to disturb the long collected dust and dirt on the top of it 😄 Very thin sheets with a cigarette burn in them. Complimentary puke on the bed skirt or so I think it was or maybe some sort of bodily fluid Maybe mold on that shower curtain it was black in color and some hair in shower 🚿 Frosted window effect so you don't have to worry about people looking in and you can't see out to babysit your car that may or may not have people looking in you vehicle windows. 🤯 The toilet needed some repair and when you did sit on it you would lean to the right 🤪. BUT to leave on a positive note we had a safe, iron & ironing board, microwave. refrigerator, TV, coffee pot and a comfortable bed to sleep in. Complimentary breakfast but each time I got there there wasn't much left 😞. Our vehicle did not get broken into and we did not get bed bugs bites 🤩🤩

I made reservations for a June visit to the area. Canceled the reservations confirmed by manager. Super 8 billed my card for $1133.86 twice on Aug 23. They credited my acct for one charge and say they don't see the second charge that's still on my card Aug 26. I will not stay at this or any Super 8...or Wyndham hotel...CROOKS. Now I have to file fraud with my bank.

Not my cup of tea honestly, rooms were dirty, staff were ok with help, and just not a place I would return to.

Our first room. The sheets and pillows had hair and glitter on them. They moved us without a problem.
