I have been using Sentry Electric for years. They are amazing to work with, do quality work, and are very reasonably priced. Alan and Shane have worked on three of our houses now and each time they have simply exceeded expectation. Thanks, Sentry Electric!

Called shortly after moving into my new home. I noticed a plate didn’t work that was going right under where my tv was hung. Googled electric companies because I am not from here and found sentry. They had great reviews and it was listed that they had been in business the longest out of everyone listed. I also liked the fact that your not charged until after your estimate. My initial wait for service was around 3 weeks which is annoying but not the companies fault no one wants to work right now I assume there short like most businesses. Steve shows up on time and I show him the plug and we had found another plug that was having issues for sake of writing a whole bunch Steve fixed one plug but not the other because he insisted we would have to rip up drywall on the opposite side of the wall which I said of course not. There is a plug on the opposite side of the wall that drops down from the attic it’s an easy splice and drop down the wall with easy access in the attic. Steve made little to no effort on fixing my plug but fixed the easy plug and bounced. It seemed like I was telling him the best way to do his job and I didn’t hire or pay myself nor am I an electrician. I paid 160$ for him to fix one plug. I had also asked for quotes on adding a fan to the living room there is currently nothing there. Never got any quotes. Wait a few days call back in And ask for a different person to come out and please get me quotes and to fix my plug under my tv. They schedule something for next day. No one shows no one calls nothing happens. I guess having the highest reviews and the most time in business doesn’t account for much anymore. Super disappointed that I trusted my gut on this one and the company didn’t deliver. I guess this is the new workforce we’re all expected to get used to.

I had Shane come look at my shop for a heater installation that I had my doubts could be completed. With the cold months upon us I needed it sooner than I thought was possible, but the friendly receptionist fit me into Shane's schedule the following week. After Shane inspected both the shop panel and the house panel feeding the shop he came up with a plan and even though originally was only giving me quotes he decided to do the work needed to get my shop warm that day. I couldn't praise the staff enough for not only fitting me into the schedule but then Shane finding an option that worked and was simple and quick. Sentry is the best!

Ron at Sentry Electric was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain our various options in regard to the electrical work and was upfront about expense. Sentry was able to bump up the timeline when our electrical situation went from bad to worse. Overall, I was very impressed with their customer service and technical expertise. I highly recommend Sentry Electric and would not hesitate in utilizing their services in the future.

This is the second time I have had Sentry come to my home. I have an older home with some difficult construction to work around, yet the job got done in a way I was very pleased with. I was listened to and was treated with respect about my projects I needed done. The pricing is very fair to have a professional do it correctly and safely. I will have Sentry come out again for my next project.

We had an emergency with the 240v outlet for our dryer. We called Sentry Electric and they sent out Steve S. First off, I wanna say that the people at Sentry electric are excellent to work with. They were very polite, and got us in immediately. Secondly, Steve S. was so great, we could tell that he genuinely cared about our safety. He kept us informed during the entire process and was always polite. You could really tell that Steve knows his stuff. The service was 100% worth the money, I will be recommending Sentry (ask for Steve) going forward. Thank you for taking care of us!

Alan was very professional and truly amazing. We had Sentry Electric out to add a Ring Floodlight. While Alan was completing this, it was found that the garage door opener outlet was not up to code. We have been having issues with a new house we bought since finding out the previous owners did not hire someone and have receipts that were promised to us to ensure electrical work was done on the house. Instead, they had a "buddy" who was "licensed" complete the work, but would not provide his name. Alan saw the garage door opener outlet was not up to code, explained, in detail, why it was not up to code, and showed us the actual code under the law. We asked Alan if he would be willing to quickly review other work that was supposed to be done. Because of his honesty and willingness to do this for free (and because of an extra discount on this and future repairs) we decided to take the protection plan as well. We will have Sentry back out to complete a complete electrical inspection and I hope we get Alan again. We truly appreciate the extra mile taken free of charge to assist a new homeowner and to be able to take the time to educate so we know exactly why something needs to be done a certain way and back it up with the actual law. This is how you gain customers. If your other electricians are doing this as well, your company will be in a great position for the future. Thanks again, Alan!

We had a miscommunication at our store and was without a tire balancer this morning with appointments on the schedule. We moved the equipment around and was not able to plug the machine in and went straight to panic mode. After multiple stops trying to find a 220 volt extension cord, Husker Electric gave us the parts required but said we had to put it together and I didn't know who I could get to do that. When he mentioned Sentry might be able to since they are right by the store, I decided to give them a shot. I stopped by and a gentlemen took me into the office and asked a technician if he could help me out even though I didn't have an appointment. He went and grabbed his tools and had the extension cord done in 20 minutes and I was back on the road. The staff was courteous and friendly and as a business owner it was an amazing experience. From all the staff at Walker Tire on 48th and Pioneer....THANK YOU!

We’ve lived in Lincoln for decades, and have heard about Sentry’s great quality of work. We were so happy when Kira joined the team, she’s always helpful and professional!

Ron was amazing! We had him out of our house for a project that took s a couple of trips, and he made sure things went smoothly and in a timely manner.
