Had some bad bug issues, Olsons took great care of us. Prompt and polite services. Would use again and recommend to all friends and family in area.

Had an active termite issue in my home and called other pest companies, but this company came Highly recommended from a family friend and very sad to report I just did not have a pleasant experience, unfortunately for me it was twice. ALWAYS ASK FOR A WRITTEN PROPOSAL! That should be the number one rule with contractors and I did not head my own advice. Perhaps it was just the technician, not sure, but he was very belittling and rude. My first encounter with the tech (Regional Manager, Preston) caught me off guard as he had to wait for me to get there for 5 whole minutes. He gave me a window of a 1/2 hour of when he would be there. I made it in the time he estimated. He exited the vehicle with all of his arrogance and proceeded to tell me his time was money and I just about lost him. Rude. I don't care how good you are or how busy you are, you should never talk to a CUSTOMER this way. I should have left him walk at that point, but I was struggling to get someone out to look at the job. After he inspected my premises for termites and proceeded to quote me on their service, verbally. I never got a scope of work or a written proposal, my fault, lesson learned and reinforced. The day of the contracted work, he was very feisty and arrogant again and we had some questions on sprinkler heads and other drill points and proceeded to tell me he told me all of these things. I had the sprinkler guy on the phone to review some sprinkler locations. My sprinkler guy could not believe how much of a an a$$ he was being as he heard him talking to me. One side of the house he was able to put the DOW Sentricon in the rocks, the other side he was unable to because of the manufacturer rules of placing in landscaping. Wait, what? You can place it on one side of the house in rocks but not the other? Honestly, I feel he was just trying to save time and mess for himself with the rocks on the other side. There was no good rationale given to me as to why we could not get the other side placed in the rocks. So in the end if you like to be treated like a second class citizen or like to be talked to like a 2nd grader again, by all means hire these people. My only regret now, is if I want to renew the service...I have to continue working with them. I called the home office in Yankton to let them know I was unhappy and certainly don't want their rep, Preston, back onto my property as he was very rude and belittling. Do your homework people, a reputable company should always be at the very least courteous to work with.

Quoted me 4k without even looking at our house. Pushy and then sent someone anyway to do the work. I have to refuse the service technician. BEWARE

We had Olson's come out and fumigate a grain bin. They did great work, were timely, and did not inconvenience us at all. Recommend!
