Employees are courteous, do their job quickly, and explain what they did / what needs to be done. The initial estimate was very close to the final estimate, so no surprises there.

I personally had a terrible experience dealing with Johnsons plumbing and heating. My home plumbing was backing up. They came and "fixed the clog". Three days later still have issues with my home backing up. Called Johnsons again they came and attacked the issue from a different drain and hit me with an outrageous bill. I don't understand how an issue they "fixed" three days prior would cost double the original bill. I attempted to contacted the owner over billing for four weeks in a row. No response for over a month. Finally when I was contacted back I was told that I was provided with a full service and that Johnsons believes they did the best for me as possible. I ended up being stuck with the second bill for the second visit with no compensation other than being told I would be sent to a collection agency. I Will never do business with Johnsons plumbing and heating again.

We stopped in to look for a tub drain. An employee in the office greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to help us. She took a lot of extra time to ensure that we found exactly what we needed. She then called us to be sure that the drain fit and worked correctly. We are so appreciative off the extra time she took to help us out. It is hard to find such exceptional customer service.

Came out within 30 minutes of calling them on a weekend, also was able to locate a roof leak causing water damage that roof professionals and previous plumbers had completely missed. Very helpful and friendly service both times!

I set up an appointment and the tech didn't show up until ten to five that day. After twenty minutes he managed to get my AC working and took off even though I told him that it hadn't been cooling very well. Of course the AC would kick on and run, but it was blowing limited air and not cooling at all. I set up another appointment, and another tech came out. He cleaned out some stuff and figured I would be good to go. A few days later I had to make another appointment, as it was blowing air much better but still not cooling. Another tech came by while I was at work, and I talked with him on the phone while he was on his way over. I never heard back from him, and have no idea what he did or how long he was here. There was no communication on any problems he may have found or what he worked on. My thermostat didn't have power (EcoBee) and I ended up having reset the power and check the wires in the furnace panel to get it working again. After work I fired the AC up and found it was blowing cooler air, but after a few days it was apparent that while it was cooling, it wasn't capable of keeping up with the Nebraska heat. I could keep the house about five degrees cooler than what it was outside. Disappointed I contacted them again, and the lady I talked with told me she would let them know that they needed to come back a fourth time. As of me writing this almost a week later I haven't heard from anyone from Johnson's. I'm sitting here with an AC that won't work correctly, and so far over three hundred dollars in a bill for equipment that is still faulty. On top of that, they apparently have decided to just ignore me. I'll contact someone else in town that knows how to run a business and get my AC fixed. Avoid this company as they clearly do not care about their customers. *Updated* I fired up my furnace with the cooler weather to find out the AC unit is kicking in and running as well. What a mess.

After going through one water disaster the prior week, we found that we must have had a pipe break under our house and called Johnson's. While they were promt in arrival, the gentleman could not locate the shut off outside and had to ask the city for assistance. He demanded his $80 for coming out in a fairly unprofessional manner, and said he'd return once the city was available. This actually took a really long time, so I went out and found it myself. Upon returning, my husband told them that he wanted an estimate for the work that was to be done. They said they couldn't do that, and someone would call us that day. No one called until the next day, by that time we had decided to do the work ourselves, but told them we would need them to turn our water on again once we were done. When the task was complete , my husband called to ask them to come turn the water back on. He also asked the lady on the phone if we would be charged another $80 to come out, since all they'd done is turn the water off in the first place. She rudley said, "I guess not!" and the call was ended. We waited for hours and did not hear from or see anyone. We finally called a little after 4 to see if they were still coming. The lady informed us that they'd already been there. Which, we found to be true, meaning that they never considered it was possible that something went wrong and we might possibly have water coming from somewhere along the new line. So in conclusion, we feel that the company was overall very unprofessional. This case definately solidified our feelings about them from a previous time they'd been out to work on something. We won't be calling Johnsons to do any more work for us!

Everytime I called them to follow up on work I was treated very poorly. They charged me $4300 to install an Air conditioning unit which took over a MONTH to get them out to do. When we called to follow up when they would be out they said " oh we didn't think you wanted work done". I sat in the heat for a month waiting for them when they said they'd be out in 2 weeks. When I called to ask for an itemized invoice, I was infomed very rudely that they wont show me the charge for every single little piece and she was very snippy. Obviously I dont need to know every screw but I need the charges in an invoice. VERY RUDE OFFICE PERSONNEL. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I needed to have the thermostat changed from Celsius to Fahrenheit and Marcus walked me through the task in a minute. Yeah! He saved my day! Thank you for your help! Appreciate you!

We had a sewer emergency and The guys who did the work were absolutely fantastic! They were very quick and helpful. Respectful. However, setting up arrangements to get the bill paid has not been a professional experience. Made a payment, got the invoice the next month threatening collections of not paid in full. Called the office to make payment arrangements and a nice lady answered the phone and said we could make the payments I needed work. I was then placed on hold, and a different lady came back on the line stating very clearly that she was the “office manager” and would not accept the payments and if it wasn’t received by the end of the month it would be sent to collections. Thinking about letting it go to collections just so they lose some of their profit. Very unprofessional and not understanding. Will not do business again.
