World of Knowledge Child Development Center Inc

Wonderful daycare. My 3 yr old son and 5 year old daughter attended here for almost a year until we had to move and loved it.

My son just recently started but has made miracles for his wellbeing. I love this place and the teachers so much! Thank you!

My children attended from 2 years old until they went to Kindergarten, and then come on days off school and summers. The staff not only do academics/kindergarten readiness, but I love that they focused on learning emotions and how to talk and play with other kids. I felt very comfortable leaving my kids here, and the staff are very easy to talk to. I definitely recommend this center to anyone who asks!!

Hands down the best day center! My child has gone to 3 other centers and this is by far the best center she has ever gone to! The staff is very informative, friendly, always on point with day to day needs of the children and parents. They provide transportation for school children, walk kiddos out to the bus for the ones who get picked up by lps. They are a PEANUT FREE CENTER and that was a very big deal for our family. I wish I found this place when we first moved to Lincoln! Our family is soo beyond grateful for this place and staff! 10/10 recommend contacting them if you are looking to place your child some where!!!

SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD APPROVED! I can say honestly I LOVE this center. Having an Autistic child so many places heard that and right away said ‘NO!’ I was heartbroken until talking to the director here. She’s got an education/ degree for special education and has made my daughter feel comfortable. I have two children that attend. They cannot wait to see their teachers, our morning usually starts with a strong hug with them! Teachers are great with communicating needs or concerns with the parents. I’m immediately known if there’s an ouchie or if my child had a special interest with specific things (which helps with home too) especially when I’m so confused sometimes as a special needs parent and get amazing advice/feedback!

I would recommend this daycare to anyone, my son has only been to two daycares since he was born. The first daycare disappointed us in every way, their turn over rate was high, the staff were constantly on their phones (to the point where they wouldn’t notice when a parent walked into the class) and my son never enjoyed going to daycare. My son is so excited to play with his friends at World Of Knowledge, we are always happily greeted by the director, assistant director and/ or his teachers in his classroom. I have yet to see a staff member in the classroom not completely engaged with the children. My son tells me about all his friends, what he learned about that day and shows me his art work when it gets sent home. This daycare always surpasses my expectations I never worry about leaving my son there. I would and do recommend world of knowledge to all of my friends!

I absolutely love this daycare my son has been attending for over a year here and he’s currently two. They have a great routine and structure set into place and each week I get a copy of the classrooms schedule which includes what art projects they’ll be doing, stories they read and what centers they will play with, that relate to the theme they are learning about. They have an app that lets you communicate with the teachers in your child’s classroom and the directors at anytime of day, as well as periodically sending updates and pictures regarding your child! The teachers and directors communication with parents goes above and beyond, the director is very family oriented and knows every child by name as well as parents. The Covid procedure that they have and had in place when we were in the red area was phenomenal and kept Covid at an absolute minimum. Another thing I have to rave about is the diversity inside this center between the students and the teachers, my son is biracial and a huge thing for me was finding a daycare that would take on working with his culture. For example my son does not eat pork, at our previous daycare it was taken lightly and most days it would be fed to him and just put on his daily sheet even after talking with the director previous times, at world of knowledge my son is always fed alternative options when it comes to pork and it is communicated on his daily sheet every time! This daycare deserves 6 stars out of 5 and I would recommend to anybody!

My son has been attending the daycare for 2 yrs so far. I recieve a weekly lesson plan from his teacher and a weekly class newsletter and a daily sheet, all of it is digital! They always keep a consistent routine and nap time and his teachers were very helpful in helping potty train him! I also love that they have fresh fruit every single at lunch. Communication is great, you can just send teachers or the director a message through the app. Teachers are always interacting with the children and never have phones out. My son is Hispanic and there is diversity in the center but they also include diversity in the toys (baby dolls, people toys, books, posters) which is nice to see. Definitely recommend the center!
