Westview Bed and Breakfast is an excellent option if you are looking for somewhere cosy to stay in Lincoln. Every room comes with a fireplace, a kitchenette, and a Jacuzzi bathtub; each one has a different character and charm to it. With plenty of historic flair on offer, staff at this top Lincoln hotel go above and beyond to provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests. There’s a freshly cooked breakfast served each morning, and there’s a tea room and library to use. Location: Situated in seven acres of farmland and garden, this hotel is a mile away from Highlands Golf Course. It is also conveniently located fairly close to Lincoln Airport.

Fantastic place goes above and beyond expectations. Best price and beautiful, historic and comfortable. Such a nice quiet place to relax. When I think of Nebraska and quant views of the prairie; I think of this place. If I could rate 10 stars I would. Thank you

My Guy and I stayed overnight for an early Valentine's Day weekend. Jim was a gracious host and made us feel at home. We especially enjoyed the beautiful art and pieces throughout the property. Jim was kind enough to share some personal stories about the art and artists. We loved the fireplace and Jacuzzi in our room and made full use of both, as well as the common areas. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves so were able to wander around and appreciate all the property has to offer. We loved reading about the history of the property and marveled at what Jim and Colleen had done with it throughout the years. Breakfast the next morning was included and it was bountiful and delicious. It even included dessert! The amenities were luxurious and plentiful. We enjoyed the stillness and solitude and it is conveniently located right off the highway. But this was not an issue since the walls are thick and we were never disturbed by noise. We highly recommend this as a romantic getaway in the country but near the city .

The bed was comfortable and some of the decor was nice. Beyond that it was our worst B&B experience. Very old building with interesting history but wiffs of musty smells as you came in and while walking around. Otherwise the decor was bedizened. Very little design, just a bunch of pictures, paintings, new and old all over. I've never seen so many bugs in any room. Little tiny bugs I couldn't identify all over the counter where the coffee pot sat. Our room wasn't yet clean when we arrived about an hour and a half past check in. Not a big problem if that had been the only one. Breakfast was planned by the lady who met us for 8:30. We were ready and waiting a bit before that time, then sat and waited and waited without seeing anyone. We texted the lady who we expected was serving us breakfast with no response. Finally, we texted the man we made the reservations with. Still no response. So after almost an hour we decided to go find breakfast elsewhere. We finally ran into a man who told us where the owner was. The owner came out and said he was just getting us our breakfast. We left instead and later we're glad we didn't eat anything from his kitchen as my husband got a look at his living quarters which was filthy, dirty dishes everywhere. The windows were so dirty and covered outside with webs and dead bugs. There was no good parking area. We never felt welcome or even comfortable staying there. Makes me shutter.

What a complicated stay. We called when we were 2 hours away, saying we would be there in 2 hours. My wife had requested the room with the king bed. We get there at 9 pm, no one greets us, we call all the phone numbers listed and posted with no response. We continue to look around, leave voicemails etc.. when finally the housekeeper calls us back. She had to leave to care for her son, and the room we were to stay in was not clean. She offered another room, with a queen bed instead. Ok. Not an ideal start, but things happen. We noticed bugs in various spots in the room, which bothered my wife who is very particular about cleanliness. I slept on the floor while my wife and daughter slept in the bed. The room was cozy with a nice bathroom and small gas heater. In the morning when I opened the coffeemaker to make a pot, the old moldy grounds were still in it. Uhoh. The owner, an older gentleman made the breakfast which was FANTASTIC. Very good. We got to talking, and he told the whole story of the place, owned it for 43 years, and now has to sell it due to policies put in place by our wonderful government. My wife and I felt terrible for him and the housekeeper. I am giving it 5 stars as I believe they did the best they could with what they had. The place is cute, cozy, and the breakfast was great. It is sad that it has to be sold, because I can see the absolute charm of it. A very mixed bag of feelings, but overall an experience we are glad we had.

Overall great stay. Skip the breakfast if you have the option. Definitely not worth the cost. Rooms were great. Spacious. Very quiet. Hot tub sooo great.

This place has promise if you realize that it is under new ownership and they are trying to renovate while also providing good service. Spoke with the woman who is helping the owner and is seeking feedback. The room was clean and comfortable. It is clear they are transitioning from an old-fashioned older owner and trying to come up with ideas for a new way to host an older space. I actually liked that it had the AirBNB feel (no keys, just communication by text of how to get into the room), and breakfast was out for us without waking us up. This place has promise and hopefully their upcoming ideas will bring more cozy stays for people.

Very peaceful, cozy, and welcoming B&B. Unique farmhouse with an interesting history. The host and kitchen staff were very friendly - we felt right at home. Look forward to visiting again.

Nice quiet location. Relaxing. Nice jacuzzi tub. Jacuzzi tub room (Prairie Nook) was tub only, no shower. Room was clean and comfortable. So thankful they had alternative water options due to the hard tap water being so gross to drink. Afternoon cookies were very good! Wish that there had been a toaster to use in the public dining area since I opted out of breakfast. Glad the room had a fridge and microwave plus dishes though!! Would definitely stay there again!

Such a beautiful place, with very friendly folks who run it. We stayed in the Prairie View Nook room, facing West and enjoyed the wonderful sunsets. The room was super clean, quaint and quiet. The huge garden tub spas was awesome. And the neat woman who made us breakfast was just a joy to be around. 10 out if 10.
