Wachal Pet Health Center

I took my dog to the Wachal clinic for the first time today. I didn't have a vet in Lincoln for her yet and I needed an appointment right away and they got her in on a Saturday in a very short amount of time. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and the front desk person knew who we were and they were ready for us. The paperwork process was simple. The vet came in and was completely thorough in the examination process and was very good at calming the dog (and me) down. She explained a ton about what was going on and had some sagely advice and a solid plan for what we could do for my little poodle. I was really impressed with this organization. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the treatment was thorough and professional. I will definitely be taking my dog back when it is time for her regular checkup.

Been bring my animals here since 2013. Knowledgeable always make sure I understand whats going on. Prices are reasonable(always honest about cost if i asked what it will cost in advance.), service is friendly, have always been avaible when I have had pet emergencies.

The staff at Wachal are so friendly! I have taken my goldendoodle to a few different vets in town and Wachal is the most welcoming and efficient. They provide quality service for a great value and they kept me informed the whole time throughout his appointment. I highly recommend them!

Both of my cats usually go to Wachal and before I get into why I’m leaving a 4 star review let me disclaim that I absolutely adore this vet. That said, I called at about 10:30 this morning to ask about if I should bring my older cat (12-15) in to the vet as an emergency (in other words ASAP which takes some planning because I don’t have a car) because he can’t seem to find water and was dehydrated the other day. It is now 5 pm. The office closes in an hour. They said they would call back when I called at 10:30. I called again at 12:00 noon and was told the techs are busy in surgery (understandable). Again, it is now 5 pm. Still no call. The office closes in an hour. Four stars. Find a vet and ask them if I should bring the cat in. Guess. Something. Anything is better than this. This cat has been my best friend for over 10 years and honestly he deserves better than this.

Dr. Wachal and his staff are amazing. He is the most patient, knowledgeable, and friendly vet! Truly the best of the best.

Dr. Wachal and his entire staff are second to none. They have taken care of Jackson since January of 2019. He had a serious, almost fatal medical condition the next summer, thankfully Dr. Wachal and staff saved his life. I will always take my pet to this clinic. They are awesome!!

Wachal is the best! All of the staff loves animals and is so good with them. They are friendly and helpful and make both of our cats feel welcome. They work with us to get us in if there is an issue. I'm so grateful we found them!

We’ve been going to Wachal since we got our dog in 2016. All of the staff take their time and are kind. Dr. Wachal is knowledgeable and explains things in great detail and allows me to ask questions without seeming rushed. We will continue to use Wachal for years to come!

My dog Buddy and I are so gratful to this place. The human society recommended this vet.Buddy and I have been working on some fear-based reactivity toward other dogs. The staff is very helpful with getting Buddy in the office without incident. They so patient and kind(with both of us 😇). You can tell that they care about Buddy and his physical/mental health. Every time I call with questions about Buddy's symptoms and behavior, they took the time to listen and provide detailed answers. We really really appreciate Wachal.
