These guys go above and beyond stayed open so I could get a rental truck great customer service I will tell all my friends and family to us them if they need a rental truck or trailer

Poor safety check at installation threatened my life and that of my pregnant wife. The installer as well as the owner both let me leave despite needing a 5.75" riser which caused much undue stress, wasted time in loading and unloading the trailer 3 times thinking it was something weight distribution related, as well as damage to my hitch. We were told by a uhaul hitch installer in California that we could have lost our lives and put others in danger due to wanton disregard for our safety during the safety check. I do not trust this location.

I don't typically write reviews, unless they are 100% warranted. With that being said, my experience at the Dalberg U-Haul location completely warrants a review. I was extremely impressed by the service and quality of the items I rented- a trailer, with a ramp, and an appliance dolly. I wasn't originally going to get the appliance dolly, but the owner gave me a brief and helpful overview of the features (without being pushy), and then gave me a really good price. Both the dolly and trailer were invaluable for moving a fridge and heavy and very awkward 9 drawer dresser. The ramp, on the trailer, was super convenient for the fridge. It had a nice spring which counterbalanced the ramp so the ramp didn't slam down on the road. The dolly was also nice because it easily strapped around, and thus secured, the fridge. The owners at the Dahlberg U-Haul location were extremely nice and helpful as well. I came without much notice and there were still very accommodating and worked with me to get me going quickly. I highly recommend this location due to the quality of the rental equipment and the helpfulness of the employees and owners- you can tell they care!

They over charged you and didn’t let you know. How? Why?

This is not a compliment to U-Haul as a company but to the dealer that owns the business where they store their trucks and helps manage their service. He is a wonderful help and kind. Uhaul system was taking so long, couldn’t get any communication from them, he went out of his way to try and help me figure out what their issue was. He has said there were a few that had gone through what i I was dealing with and it was seeming to be payment processing issues.

I usually use the 48th st store. However no one Ever answers their phone. So i went to the one on 10th. I would definitely make this my new go to store. The owner was awesome. Kind and friendly. I rented a tow dolly. He helped us hook it up and we didnt know our wires were cut and didnt work. So he went into his shop and came out with a brand new one and installed it on our truck and didnt charge us a thing. This is exactly the type of businesses and people we need.. I highly recommend.
