I’d probably give this hotel more like 3.5 stars. I’ve gone back and forth between finalizing a 3 or 4 several times… I’m a bit surprised this is a Marriott branded hotel. The rooms are dated, elevators are slow (one had buttons that didn’t light up to show you’d selected the floor), and it might have been the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in in quite some time. Bed comfort is personal, but it just didn’t “feel” Marriott to me (disappointing, as reliable bed comfort was why i had selected this hotel in the first place). Make sure you ask for a room far away from the elevators. My room was directly across, and all I heard was young people chattering and laughing in the halls on and off until about 1am. Pretty rough after a long day! As a note (not impacting rating), the walk from the garage to the hotel is also surprisingly long, as the garage is on the conference side. I guess that’s what I get for self parking instead of pulling up to the lobby check in area on the street! Do that if you have luggage and at least unload first! Additionally, if you book in the Marriott app selecting a low or high floor, double check with the desk after reserving. I chose low, but somehow got placed on 7th (highest is 9th). That issue is in the app, though, I believe? Not on the hotel. All that said, front desk staff was stellar (went above and beyond for me), room service was prompt, food was fairly decent, and location to the freeway can’t be beat. Also pet friendly (albeit for an exorbitant fee) is a plus.

Ok so first time here and I was amazed the lobby looks awesome staff was very nice we were on the top floor so my wife loved it and the window over the city was her favorite it was also cool the the TV had a welcome message on it with my name we didn't stay in the room long just to sleep. Was totally worth it the restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is good pool was small no hot tub and the work out room was good would totally go again

The building is beautiful set in downtown Lincoln. The rooms were great, our bad review falls under the fact that when we booked our room on line it stated that we would have access to the concierge lounge, when we arrived to the hotel we found we did not have access. The staff refused to give us access, regardless that our confirmation said we had access. They didn't even entertain the idea. Poor service and poor website.

Didn't stay in a room there but attended a wedding. Looks like a very nice hotel. Lots of space and event rooms for use. Food was top notch. Very nice and friendly staff.

This was the best motel I've stayed at in a long time. The room was super clean and had daily service. All of the staff was exceptional. The bar and grill down stairs was excellent.

Two stars given. One because my car wasn’t broken into while parked in the properties garage. Second star because the shower water was hot. Appreciate that. Unfortunately, this has been my worst Marriott stay in calendar year 2022. I’ve frequented this property probably 2 dozen times over the last 5 years. It’s an older full-service, I get that. But it’s one thing having dated aesthetics, and it’s an entirely different thing being downright filthy and apathetic. I’ll let a few of these photos speak for them selves. For my future travels into Lincoln, I’ll be staying at the Scarlet property, or even staying outside the Marriott network at the Graduate. Last thing of note, which really put the gravy on top of the lumpy-mashed-potato mess that this property has now become. When valet is available, I valet. I also tip well ($20 per leg). I called down to the front desk 20 minutes before my departure this morning. I get down there and my car wasn’t pulled up, and the valet said that no one had communicated to him. I tipped him regardless, but the raw and unapologetic lazy approach to running this property is showing.

Had the best price for a football weekend. Front office staff very friendly and fun. Adjoining rooms are noisy. About a mile walk from the stadium but nice to get out of the hubbub of all the action of game day.

Perfect environment to experience our event. They never missed a beat, taking care of us. Bob the concierge set the stage by helping me get settled in, and keeping me on track getting around. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I do wish I could have kept the ADA room door open long enough to get my scooter in. 😫

The room was very nice and we loved the restaurant. After leaving the hotel I realized shortly afterward that I had forgotten something. I quickly called and requested they grab my item and a family member would come pick it up for me. Two+ hours later after several calls no one helped me or returned my calls. Now I have to replace my items (over $75).

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. Fantastic Staff, love that there is designated Bus Parking, even if it was almost full of other service trucks that could fit in the parking garage. Attention to detail is important, I should not have to bring something to attention of front desk (see photo).
