The Kindler Hotel

I would highly recommend this boutique hotel! From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The bed was amazing, and I slept like a baby. It was quiet and I loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Boitano’s lounge is a beautiful area with great drinks. It’s the kind of bar where you want to stay for a while! If you are going to be in Lincoln, Nebraska, I would not miss The Kindler!

Amazing hotel! Everything is top notch! The room is state of the art with automatic lights in the bathroom, heated floors in the bathroom, a glass shower with multiple heads, clean beds and rooms, automatic lights in the closet. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff was also absolutely amazing, kind and went above and beyond!

My stay at the Kindler was extremely positive. The staff were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and the service was superb. (The hotel bar/lounge made some great drinks) I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They made my stay in Lincoln one to remember, and I definitely look forward to staying there in the future.

Where to begin? The Kindler is a gorgeous luxury hotel in downtown Lincoln, with beautiful views of the city and stadium. Having grown up in Lincoln, the Kindler provided me a view of the city I've never seen before. The staff was incredibly welcoming, from the front desk to the managers to the bartender. Special shout-out to bartender Bobby for taking care of me and making the delicious Italicus spritz. My room was amazing too- immaculately designed and spotless, and a really cool layout. I have to mention the shower was huge, with some of the nicest design and fixtures I've ever used. The balcony in my room was where I spent a great deal of time, just enjoying the fresh air and view of downtown Lincoln. I was overwhelmed at the Kindler staff's hospitality and professionalism, and the sheer elegance of the accommodations. Stay at the Kindler when you're in Lincoln, you won't regret it!

Really enjoyed my stay at the Kindler hotel. Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff goes above and beyond. The decor and rooms are beautiful. The details throughout the hotel are a definitely a sight to see. There are heated floors in the bathroom. The lounge in the hotel has great food and drinks. I look forward to staying here again and would highly recommend it.

Shelly at the front desk is my angel! I had a booking issue with a different hotel (arrived in town after an 8 hr drive), and moved on to Kindler to see if there was a room available. No luck…Lincoln was booked solid due to a sports event. BUT, even though I wasn’t a paying customer, Shelly went out of her way to help me look up hotels in the surrounding area…using her empathy, instincts, and decades in the hotel biz to help me secure something in Stromsburg. ABOVE and beyond! I’m so grateful. Thank you for hiring knowledgeable and helpful staff. Needless to say, I’ll be staying here if I swing through Nebraska again, it’s a beautiful hotel as well!

The hotel is nice, the staff wonderful. Where this hotel falls short is in the following areas: 1. No regular maid service. You have to *ask* to have your room serviced. That was not explained at check in or on the website. Also, there is no restaurant -- there is a bar where you can have finger foods, but at $350 a night, in Lincoln, NE, this place should have all of the amenities of a high-priced hotel -- it does not.. Also add about $12.00 per day for parking in the adjacent parking deck. My suggestion: stay at another hotel for half the price and twice the amenities.

We stayed at the Kindler during our recent visit to Lincoln. Was very impressed with both the look and feel of the property. Very classy without being overly pretentious. Rooms were very spacious and immaculate. Heated floors in the bathroom were a very nice touch. Staff were friendly and strived to make sure we were completely happy with everything. The lounge area was well designed and decorated. We tried a few of their signature cocktails, all of which were outstanding. Bourbon fans should definitely try the Gold Rush. If you are interested in something more than just a room in another chain hotel, you won’t be disappointed in the Kindler.

The pictures honestly made it look better. Don't get me wrong, heated flooring in the bathroom and an actual comfy bed was nice. But, they never offered valet to us, the room was small, and there wasn't much noise cancelation in the room. I couldn't sleep well because I kept hearing people come and go. I paid good money for it and felt as if it should of been better. Oh and not to mention customer service was vague and not welcoming.

Fantastic service and amenities and the cocktails at the bar were great. Whomever put the cocktail selection together on the menu has excellent taste. The heated flooring and walk-in glass shower with two shower heads were really nice however the bathroom door itself had a major flaw because the sliding door to our bathroom had a gap in it that allows the person outside the bathroom to see in and allows sounds to travel easily outside the bathroom. Hotel management should seriously consider some sort of fix that would make the bathrooms more private because this flaw marred an otherwise wonderful experience.
