Price and location. The staff worked very hard to make the stay worthwhile. While not a perfect hotel, it was great Cibrian the price.

Location and cost were good. At one time this was a very nice hotel but it is very dated now. Paint and some of the furniture were pretty tattered condition.

This hotel is in serious need of updating the decor of rooms. My room had so many re-plasterng repairs it was ugly. There were some in my curtains, and modeling was coming off.

The Red Roof Inn in Lincoln, Nebraska is very run down and needs many facility repairs. The staff is under trained and asked that I wait until the next day for my request of an extending my stay for a day. They said they didn't know how to preform this function and didn't want to make the manager mad by calling them. The manager was unpleasant and I then understand her employees hesitation to contact her. Definitely pick a different hotel to stay at.

Nothing fancy, but for the price you can't beat it. Clean rooms, breakfast (although only cold foods) nice and helpful front desk staff. Plenty within walking distance as well.

bottom line, is that this hotel is very poorly managed. When I went to check in I had to knock on the window of the office as the attendant playing games on his phone versus watching the front desk. Not really a big deal. Then in the morning when I went to take a shower, there was no hot water. Then, I went down to get a cuppa coffee and breakfast, and the coffee was also cold. And the waffle makers working. Upon checking out I told the attendant Pinky, and she went up to verify that my shower wasn’t working. Then she said I’ll make a note. I’m not sure why she went up to verify it if she wasn’t gonna do anything about it anyway? Just tried to call the general manager, but to no surprise there was no answer. My recommendation is to stay somewhere else where someone cares.

I was never able to stay at the Red Roof however, all of my interactions with the hotel were outstanding. I was planning a long drive from Denver to Minneapolis with a dog. I called ahead before time, after booking online, to ensure it was okay. The individual on the phone went out of her way to double check the reservation and make sure that everything was okay for my arrival. Unfortunately, a large winter storm passed through and closed the interstate so I had to cancel. Even though I booked through a 3rd party website, they gave me a full refund (most places don’t). Again, although I never stayed here, I appreciate all of the communication and responsiveness of the staff.

There was a huge water stain on the ceiling the captain's chair has holes in it the screen was off the window and a remote didn't have any batteries in it and it took me forever to get my $50 deposit refund back. The deposit is for if you smoke in the room or tear up the room they are pet friendly that's one good thing about them. But the price they charged me for that room for a king size room was not feasible it was way too high that room was despicable.

Worst place ever. Stayed here for a week in September. They only clean the room once a week and only if you request for it. They dont give you clean towels until you request for them too. Staff are not friendly including the manager. They don't even smile when you enter the hotel. Breakfast isn't even good. I wish I didn't have to give them even a star. This place is really terrible!

Julie the General Manager is not a person for the hospitality or customer service business. She has laughed at my face, scoffed at my requests, and even hung up on me due to frustration. Had to change rooms cause they booked me in a room that was getting maintenance from a contractor. The second room I was in was not clean, a dirty towel on top of the toilet which was definitely used, and a variety of missing things that should have been in the room. Like a lamp, coffee pot, etc. My desk in the room only had 3 legs, the maintenance person complained to me about the GM, and not having proper inventory. The maintenance person said they have tried to resign, but the GM, Julie won’t let him. The other staff is an assortment of people who don’t know how to do their job, or check people in, or have people pay for their room even. The phone directs you to the front desk, to which it then says the extension doesn’t exist. So at times you can’t even call the front desk. When trying to pay for my room for the second week, the front desk clerk said he didn’t know how to charge a room, and said he didn’t want to call Julie in fear she would be angry or upset at him. I had to stay here, since it was close to work. However given another chance to be in Lincoln and need a hotel, I would never go back or recommend to anyone.
