Nebraska Sod Company

Terrible! Got sod installed in our backyard and it wasn't level, had gaps, and they even put sod on top of flowers in our landscaping beds. I asked if they could come back and redo some spots and was told they would get back to me and never did. Was never told when they were coming, they just showed up and started working. Never talked to anyone in person, everything was done over the phone. They just did the work and sent the bill. I will never do business here again and would never recommend.

Terrible sod installation....Sod covering sprinkler heads,(fixed myself). sod over lapping 4-6 inches.(fixed myself). MISSING GRASS 4-10 INCHES...Called and left messages for them to come fix it. They said i was on schedule but never FIXED IT . They said they will bring me sod and will have to fill the missing grass myself.. WHAT A JOKE. Worst sod installation I've ever seen. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THIS COMPANY

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Nebraska Sod. Robert is phenomenal on the irrigation services side of the house. He is friendly, professional, highly qualified and efficient. I am pretty sure it was Jamie we worked with for sod and he was knowledgeable and very helpful. They have always called us back and provided us with exactly what we needed. Thank you!

Sod covering sprinkler heads, sod over lapping 3-4 inches. Called and left messages 3 times for them to come fix it. No one called me back. Worst sod insulation I've seen. Would NOT recommend. They did my neighbors yard and it also looks terrible. You can see where it was overlapped and didn't grow or take correctly.

Nebraska Sod installed sod on our very large back yard. They have a big crew and lots of equipment with which they did the project very quickly, cleanly and professionally. All the folks we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Following the installation we kept in contact with Jamie who guided us through the watering and then the mowing of the new grass. It is like a beautiful green carpet and we love it.

Did not follow up to correct problems, provided low quality sod.

We had trouble with our sprinkler system. They not only fixed the areas that we had noticed but brought to attention some other issues that were not working. They were punctual, communicated clearly and fixed everything. The only reason to give 4 stars is because of their availability as the wait was about two months to get an appointment. They seem to be very busy during spring.

This company installed our sod and irrigation system. Although I wasn’t who hired them (as we landed on a new build in drywall phase) I’m not disappointed the builder chose them. We’ve lived in our house for a year and half. I’ve never lived in a house that had irritation so this was all new. Last winter I was outside and heard what sounded like water spraying on the side of our house. Yup you guessed it our irrigation system froze and blew off the pressure cap (I think that’s what it’s called). I immediately turned off the water and called Nebraska sod. Of course they were closed but I had the option to leave a message. First thing the next morning I get a call back and they dispatched someone that day. I wasn’t home but my wife was. They tech that came over was knowledgeable and friendly. Explained what happened and fixed it. He said if we didn’t turn off our water we would have had bigger issues. He replaced they cap and let my wife record a tutorial on how yo correctly shut the system down for the season. We also had them come over shortly after we moved in to move a line. They did it fast and right. Although I don’t have anyone to compare to I’d recommend this business.

Best sod company ever! 😎Received wonderful service and am very satisfied with my choice of company. They defiantly care for the customer and if there is a problem, they fix it immediately. A lot of people will say, “grass is grass” but Nebraska sod has the most beautiful, gorgeous grass. So many compliments. It is like a haircut, you can get an awful haircut for cheap, or you can get a hair cut professionally done at a higher cost and higher quality, where you will receive lots of compliments. “Every blade of grass has its angle that bends over it and whispers, grow, grow.” -the Talmud. Nebraska sod is the whisper that makes your grass grow. You don’t just want a healthy yard, but a healthy life, and looking at dead grass will bring people down 😢. You know what they say, healthy yard, healthy heart. Nebraska sod is the way to go and I hope you have an amazing experience also like I did. 😁
