Went for dinner with my husband. We ordered appetizers before the meal which were delicious. The soups were also very good. My husband's steak was overcooked, medium well instead of medium rare. The server let the kitchen staff know. The kitchen is open and we were seated across from it. The cooks were cussing about having to redo the steak and some other peoples food. We mentioned to our server that the cooks seemed upset, but she just said it wasn't an issue. She also told us that the steak was "on the house" but we were charged full price. We splurged on this meal with my husband adding seafood to his steak as well as paying extra for mushrooms and onions. No alcoholic drinks. We spent $260 for this special dinner to have it ruined by cursing cooks. We were very happy with the appetizers and soup and commented that we would definitely eat there again, but after hearing swearing (fbombs) and things being slammed around in the kitchen once the restaurant got busy, we will not be returning.

Our server was great! But the food was not worth the price we paid. 3 of us order prime rib. 1 of us got the queen cut and the other 2 got the king cut. Our cuts were the same exact size but yet we paid more for the two king cuts. We were told they weigh them, but there was no way the "king cuts" we were given were any bigger than the queen. Their food is just like any other steakhouse in town, in fact, Texas road house is cheaper and better!! Definitely not worth the hike in prices. After spending over $200, we should have been more than satisfied. We will not be going back in the future.

Highly recommended by many people who we have come to know since moving to Lincoln. So my wife and I both had their prime rib, and it was excellent. Even though it looks small from the outside, it is really spacious. We ate here on August 19, 2022. We were really pleased with how everything went and I would also recommend them. Great customer service and excellent food.

Prime Rib!!! It’s not what you get from a Saturday Night Special at the Local Tavern, not that that’s bad, but It’s more of a home made flavor with crusted seasonings. It’s kinda like what grandma makes at home for the holidays, only way better! My wife and I eat there every January for our Anniversary, we arrive with high expectations for taste and high quality expectations for the cut. We are always leaving full, happy, great service, and have leftovers to enjoy for a midnight snack or the next day. See ya next year!!! Free Bread! Try the signature mashed potatoes! Lobster Bisque and French Onion Soup with so much Cheese!!!

Celebrated our engagement with delicious food! Just a short wait to get a table on a Friday night and hostess was spot on with wait time. Only disappointment was discovering after it arrived at the table that the corn chowder soup was actually CRAB corn chowder. Not a fun surprise when you you dislike seafood. Banana bourbon cake was amazing!

A staple of Lincoln. This is the steakhouse where all important visitors and dignitaries can be found. This place has so much history and backs up its reputation with great tasting food. My dad wanted to go there for his 60th birthday and we were not disappointed. I personally had a ribeye and it was melting in my mouth. I didn't trim anything off because it was so well cut and cooked. If you're celebrating something big, skip the chain restaurants and try something synonymous with Lincoln.

Great Food! The Calamari Was Just Right and Not Too Chewy Nor Crunchy. Although The Blackened Prime Rib Is A Smidge Too Seasoned, It Was Still Very Delicious! The Waiter Never Left Me With An Empty Cup To Be Filled and Checked On Us Frequently.

Folks, when you hear that a restaurant has "ambience", THIS is what they are talking about! It has soft lights, much wood, and big semi-circle booths dressed in leather (or a very good semblance thereof!). This establishment has been in existence since 1963, but it feels more like the 40's. You can easily picture wiseguys talking business in a corner while their body men drink high-balls in the bar. I started with the crab cakes, which were excellent. The ribeye main course was perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly as ordered. The creme brulée I treated myself to for dessert even had the superlative "crack!" when I applied my spoon to the flame-sealed sugar topping. In short, this place isn't inexpensive, but I assert that any guest will get their money's worth! If you want to impress a date or a client, you can't do better than Misty's!

The atmosphere is very homey and can tell it holds a lot of rich history inside. Food was excellent and would recommend the escargot and, of course, legendary steak. Service was nice and attentive. Higher in price, would save for a special occasion. Little bit of a wait but expected on a Saturday night. Overall, very nice restaurant and can't wait to go back.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We’re visiting Lincoln from out of state & wanted a good steak dinner. Misty’s is one of the best places we’ve eaten at in a long time. Our waitress Victoria was top notch. I had the prime rib & hubby had the salmon. Victoria noticed my prime rib was a little underdone from what I’d ordered so she took it back for a quick trip on the grill. Came back perfect. Their seasoning really takes it to the next level. Hubby’s salmon was also delish. He also had French onion soup which tasted like it had been simmering all day. Absolutely divine. If you’re in the area this is a must visit restaurant. Our dinner with a cocktail, an extra side AND dessert was a little over $90! So much good food for a great price.
