Madonna Proactive Medical Fitness

Was a member of this gym for about 3 years combined. After we got new equipment at home we decided to cancel the membership. So I called them and they said they would cancel it if I filled out some paperwork. I forgot to do that. Totally my fault. But I didn't step foot into the gym one more time after that call. 6 months go by and I see on my CC that the membership is still active and being charged over $100 a month. So I call the gym and we talk about the signature requirement. We go round and round and they agree to refund me 3 out of 6 months worth of gym fees. Which is fine but they still decided to keep my other 3 months and $300 dollars is a lot of money to pay for nothing. I didn't use their water, I didn't put wear on their machines, I didn't use their electricity. But they still decided to keep my money cause they had it and didn't want to give it back. So I informed them I would file with my CC to get reimbursed and my CC then reimbursed my funds. Instead of just letting it go, the gym then sent me to collections for the money they said I owed. If someone can tell me why they deserve to have my money for nothing I'd be all ears. I hope that money is worth it cause you just lost a member and now people online can see how greedy this place is. $300 for nothing. FOH.

I've worked at gyms across the country from decent ones like LA Fitness to elite services like Lifetime Fitness and Equinox. Aside from one poor experience from racist employee who publicly humiliated me, the amenities are absolutely excellent & pristine locker rooms(Thanks Nina!) Keep it up, Madonna family! Also, to the gentleman whining about his gym membership: it's his responsibility to sign documents formerly to terminate the contract whether you utilize the services you signed up for or not---- just like being perfectly health with health insurance, being too busy with business for country club memberships, or vehicle sitting in the driveway as you pay your car note; same concept.

Love this place. It has been a blessing through my husband's Parkinson'’s and several falls and a strokeon my part. Also a wonderful place for healthful recreation.

Very nice and very comfortable. All the weight machines are nice and up to date. All the people that work there professional and knowledgeable.

Nice clean gym with lots of fun and informative fitness classes. Water track is a must!

I just wanted to leave a review for the couple that cleans here. They are such a nice lovely couple! Very helpful and always so clean and welcoming! Tonight my car didn't want to start and even with a broken hand Jay was trying to help me and his gf was just as helpful as she could be! These 2 are always here late and make the place so clean and welcoming, this place sure are lucky to have such nice people during a time when people don't seem to want to work! They deserve a raise! Thanks again guys!

Left my ring in the he locker room. It was kept safely at the front until the next day! Members and staff are very respectful / welcoming. Highly recommend this place. Also, the locker rooms are amazing. They have a steam room, sauna, hot tub. It’s super nice after a long workout.

The facility is clean and attractive. It is stocked well with quality equipment and the staff is professional and very friendly. I appreciate all they do for all of us that enjoy Madonna Proactive.

I wholeheartedly recommend ProActive! It offers classes for advanced or the beginner. The staff is very friendly and offer help for those that need assistance. There is a wide range of age groups in the club. The largest indoor track in Lincoln offers walkers and runners climate controlled conditions. The equipment is well maintained, towels furnished and clean dressing rooms. So many more amenities. Go check it out!
