This is a great complex! Alecia and Molly are amazing. They made the move in process so easy. Well maintained property and quiet community. Love it here!! Highly recommend this place!

My daughter and two friends applied for an apartment but advised they may not be able to move in until end of October because one of the applicants was in a current lease. The manager told us she could only hold an apartment if we left a deposit. I asked if I left a check for them for the deposit, could they hold it until the other applicant found out if he could move in. The applicant advised that it would take a few days to find out as it was a Saturday when they applied. The Manager said that was fine, but when the applicant found out he could not move in until the end of October they refused to give the refund and stated it says on the application there is only 24 hours to change your mind. I did not sign an application the three kids did but yet she was more than willing to take my money and IMPLY that it would be given back if things did not work out. The whole reason I went in the first place was because the lady was so rude to them the first time they went on there own. I used to live in the apartments years ago and the staff was amazing, these people they have working there now are rude. Be careful because they do not give you all the facts and they hide stuff in the application. At no time on the day they filled out the application was anything ever said about the deposit not being refundable, yet the manager had no trouble telling them several times the $49 application fee was not refundable. VERY POOR management.

I love living here, been here a year and no problems. Maintenance is prompt, the office staff is super nice and helpful, the apartment is really nice and almost sound proof, all around a great experience! It is home!

I relocated here from another state and Linda Soto did an amazing job assisting me with the entire process via phone and email. Every staff member that I have communicated with has always been very nice and professional.

I’ve really enjoyed living at the Lakeside Apartments so far! Alecia is so helpful and took time to help me get my dog able to come to my apartment! She works hard to please the people who live here and I would highly recommend checking this place out!

The apartments themselves are really clean, spacious, close to campus and overall a great place to live, which is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the management here is awful and overshadows their great property. Always losing rent checks, not having any idea what is going on and then laughing it off later. After having worked in the housing/apartment industry it's easy to say that I'm dissapointed with the way things are run.

This is by far one of the best apartments near the downtown area. I have lived here for about two years and have had no issues with the staff or other enters. There’s a wide variety of people that live here from college students to families it’s great for all types. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable and safe place to live in Lincoln!

We just moved into these apartments, so while we don't have much to report in terms of the quality of living thus far, I'd like to leave a review about the leasing agents. The day before and day of our move in, we had some miscommunication about our guarantor (cosigner). In their system, only one person can be a guarantor, even if there are multiple tenants. We definitely put the leasing staff through the ringer and went back and forth on several aspects of the lease and who would be on it. Through the process, they worked with us to try to keep us on schedule and make sure we could move in when we needed to. We really appreciated all the help that Molly and Donna gave us through the process of moving in, as we know it wasn't easy to stress them out as much as we did! The situation was definitely less than ideal, but Molly worked hard to try to get the situation figured out, and we were able to move in on time. A HUGE thanks to her and Donna for helping us through the process!

At first I was really impressed with the apartments, they were really nice and (kind of) reasonably priced. It definitely could have been cheaper because of the location, which is all the way by the airport. My advice is to absolutely not even consider these apartments. First of all, if you don't know what happened in the capital beach neighborhood years back, educate yourself with the history. Everything has gone down hill, there's unkempt trailer parks throughout the area which would be absolutely embarrassing if you lived anywhere near there. Secondly, they will tell you it's a 350 deposit fee and 35 dollars for each application. They'll later increase that price to 400 and 40. If you need a guarantor (their 'fancy' word for co-signer) you also have to pay 40 for their application. Oh, and if you are unable to rent the apartment they will not give you your money back for your applications. I just lost 120 dollars because I was unable to rent there because my financial situation tightened and they refused to refund me. Now, I'm not one to complain about a business too much (my father owns one and I understand how hard it is to own and operate your own business while making everybody happy) but this was by far the worst experience in applying for an apartment I have ever had. Thank the Lord I didn't have to live there! No telling what kind of hell that would be! I highly recommend you do not rent here, the apartments may look nice, the people may act nice also, but when it comes to money they will strip you of however much they can.
