La Petite Academy on Taylor Park Drive

My son had been attending for years and everything was great up until I started receiving title 20. My son was gone for a week because he was sick and due to being hospitalized for my current pregnancy, I was unable to contact them and without prior notice my son was uninvolved and the contract was cancelled. The director told me "I have a business to run" and that my son could not attend again. My son has been going there since before he was even a year old, he's 3 now. He's built relationships with all of the other children and the teachers as well. He told me he wanted to go see his friends and specifically named one of his teachers as well, and I had to tell him he wouldn't be going there anymore, he was so upset and cried so much, I just didn't even know what to do. And because of not being notified until the morning of, I even lost my job. Very disappointed.

We have been at La Petite for 4 months and my kids love it! I appreciate that the teachers (Gloria, Candice and Anne) have a twinkle in their eyes when they talk about my son at the end of the day - they are so cheerful, even after a full day of work, and I know they love him! My daughter is in the school-age room and she likes the art projects they do and playing on the playground. She adores her teacher, Liz. LPS had a couple snow days this week and she has been excited to go to daycare all day. I am very thankful they are open even on snow days! Thanks for the excellent service!

One amazing place!! My girls are currently going here and they LOVE it! All the teachers are outstanding and amazing, they all work with the children very well and are soo understanding! My girls adore all the teachers but are head over heels about Miss Dusty and Miss Courtney! Everyone their teaches and loves your kid like they are their own, and thats why I love taking my kids here!!

My children have been with La Petite Academy on Taylor Lane for a few years now and we absolutely love it. Not only is the staff wonderful but the families that attend are great as well. The kids have built many friendships with their classmates and teachers so it's definitely a great feeling as a parent knowing that your children are in a safe, caring, fun environment while you are at work.

My boys have been going there since last summer. They absolutely love it there. The staff is so wonderful they are very nice and respectful people always have very good communication. They have worked hard to help my kids to adapt to the environment. I would recommend this childcare over and over to all of my friends and family. I am so thankful for them and all they do for my boys!

I brought my infant son to La Petite for a week while visiting Lincoln for work. The Director, Vicky Jones, was very accommodating and made the paperwork process manageable on relatively short notice. The facility is secure and clean. The caregivers are so attentive and genuinely care for the children under their watch. Under normal circumstances I would have been nervous about leaving my son in a new place, but there was not one moment when I questioned whether he was in good hands. Both my son and I are looking forward to our next trip to La Petite!

We searched for a preschool that met all of our needs: safety, security, friendly and competent teachers, clean environment, and good communication. After trying out 2 private preschools in Lincoln and being extremely dissatisfied, we decided to take a chance on La Petite. We have been so incredibly pleased! Most importantly, parents are welcome at any time. Believe it or not, the previous private preschool we tried told us explicitly that we weren't welcome without advance notice! Second, the teachers are warm, friendly, caring, and qualified. Our daughter has loved every teacher she has had at La Petite. Finally, the communication is superb. We feel like we are known and cared about as a family and that is the most important thing of all. We will miss La Petite as our daughter graduates from Pre-K this year. Thank you to all of the wonderful teachers and administrators for caring for our daughter so well!

La Petite has been a great experience for our daughter! She loves the toddler teachers, Candice and Gloria. They always do a wonderful job of documenting her day so we know what she is learning from day to day. They also give her the love and attention that she deserves! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful! We would recommend La Petite to everyone!

I love La Petite Academy. My son started when he was 2 1/2. The entire staff is amazing with him and the other children there. He's been going for about 6 weeks and its to the point now where he isn't ready to leave when I pick him up. They have well balanced meals and educational activities along with play time. The staff cares for all the kids as if they were their own and want to see them succeed. I also love the app that gives updates about his day (i.e. meals, potty time, as well as posting messages to us, and pics of him during the day). I would recommend La Petite to anyone who is looking for quality and caring child care.
