Foundations truly is a place where kids learn through play. It’s not learning disguised as play. It’s children playing. It’s children learning while playing. Navigating childhood with autonomy, a voice that is heard by kids and adults alike, and the love of being able to get messy, having fun, where a kid gets to just be a kid.

Everyone there actually care about what they do & bother to listen, its insane but literally that makes them a rare find in Lincoln. Everywhere I ever been had crazy turnover I never knew who was watching my kid but not this place it might be because theyre small but thats honestly the best part. theyre small and a lot of people working so you know its good quality

The staff at this location is not professional or look after the children correctly. Sure, its a carefree environment where your children are suppose to learn earth science and explore. There are a lot of consides; first the curvy girl with the short hair never pay attention to the children on the playground, there have been multiple occasions where she is on YouTube chilling outside. There was a girl walking dangerously on top of the slide barely holding on to the cloth shade. Second, The young child that does attend this daycare has came home with scratches on the back and a cuts on the feet from being barefoot on woodchunks on the outside playground. None of the staff give a report on the child, the child has came home several times with someone else clothes on and no one says why. I had been worked in smaller facility than this with adult patients and they didnt smell has foul as this school. I know the school was better months ago. Maybe the owner should talk to his staff about safety. Maybe i should've read the handbook.

I could not recommend this facility more! We moved out of state about 10 months ago, and unfortunately had to cease care for our daughter here. She STILL talks about Foundations and how much she misses it! It's a good feeling when your toddler is sad to leave school, you know how much they genuinely enjoy it. As a parent, it was a relief to be updated on her day to day activities. Pictures of fun and learning are sent directly to the parents, any time she was injured I received a notification, and received physical incident reports, if I had a concern I could simply reach out to administration at any point in time and always received a quick response. I also loved that a notification was sent when my child was signed in or out, it kept me updated during times our work schedules prohibited the ability for her dad or I to do so. As a parent, one of my worst fears is someone possibly hurting my baby while I'm not around - never even a concern here. From day 1 I knew she was treated with respect and her feelings were validated here. She was loved by her caregivers, and she loved them. To this day, she reminds me how Mr.Travis says "we need to respect ourselves and our friends", and "it's okay to make mistake, it gives us a chance to learn" Its so nice to know during the day your child is able to continue to be a child, not forced to complete pictures or worksheets. They stand true to letting kids be kids.

We absolutely LOVE Foundations! The kiddos feel loved, cared for, and respected by their teachers. They learn so much, just from being offered an environment that promotes their natural way of learning. I really like how involved Foundations is with the community, and how they make every effort to connect with their students and their families. The staff has never hesitated to take on the complex medical needs that our kiddos come with, and that's HUGE! Also major in my book is communication; and that's another area that I have been pleased with. Definitely recommend!

Our little girl has been going to Foundations for about 6 months now, and we simply could not be happier. She is excited to go play and learn! The staff are lovely, and unlike some childcare centers, I have observed exceptionally low turn-over. The staff know our child and love her. I have never worried about her being safe or happy when she is at Foundations. During her time at Foundations, we have also seen an abundance of growth in her development. Obviously, all kids grow in their development over 6 months, but I think the small family-like setting, the student-centered learning, and the emphasis on play have made a world of difference!

My son has been going here for a little over 2 years now. The teachers are absolutely amazing and the skills and activities they learn each day give me such joy! I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking for good quality care for their children! Travis and Maegan are amazing!
