Dove's Dog Academy & More!

Hi everyone please do your research before wasting your money or ending up with a even worse behaving dog. If you read most but not all the other reviews, they are written by people who had not even seen the dogs improvement and were like me hopeful for results. Yes Mr. Dove is enthusiastic and very good at convincing you otherwise. However his many yrs in business-FALSE maybe working with friends dogs but has less then 1 yr as a NE registered business. He claims to be BBB accredited-FALSE Not only not accredited he has to unresolved complaints soon to be 3. They will spend all these hours working with your dog-FALSE They spent 2 hrs a day. After receiving a log the first day via text messages of services times. And the kennel is almost to Lincoln so someone isn’t even available at all times to address issues as they arose. They claim they will work with you an integrate dog back into home. FALSE-My dog was dropped of by another trainer and when questioned about training she was supposed to receive in regards to destructive chewing, barking, digging etc. she said how she knew nothing about that she worked with her on sit and a stay. But she couldn’t even demonstrate my dog had learned that. Not one behavior was improved within the first hr she demonstrated them all on video. Except barking not sure if she barked so much at the kennel or if something else happened to her but she could barely get out a bark. Although she wanted to. She now tries to bite if your work with her on commands and everyone will tell you she was the most cuddly dog before, (employees even made that comment and how loveable she was) As you can see my list can go on and on. My concerns with training were fully expressed before hand and he said if he felt he couldn’t make changes with her he would call 2-3 days in and send her back so I didn’t waste my money. They gave me false reassurance that I wouldn’t be out $1600.

From the get go, Willie was responsive, nice, professional, caring, and attentive to my concerns. Even though we were a mess trying to get everything ready for vacation, he worked with us in more ways than one. I'm very appreciative and enjoyed my first experience with them very much. I highly recommend and have told my while family to give them a call. Thanks! Will use again!

I’ve talked to multiple people that have the same experience. If you choose to go make sure and look at your statement for an unexplained “tip”. Not convinced he’s certified either.

This was the absolute best decision I made for the well being of my dog and my sanity! My pittie/lab did so well and Willie made my roommates and I feel confident about continued education at home.

I sent a short novel to Mr. Dove regarding a dog belonging to a family member that im helping to care for while his daddy is recovering from health issues asking for advice on the best way to handle some issues that we were having. Im on the east coast, and i didnt expect a return call so quickly but Mr. Dove called me back alot faster than i thought id get a response and we spoke regarding the situation and he gave me some tips and pointers on what to try to handle things. He was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. All thats left to do now.is do what he suggested. I definitely feel alot better after speaking with Mr. Dove. Thank you sooo much Mr. Dove!!!!! Seriously, if any of you are having issues, need advice, have a question, whatever the case may be, send him an inquiry, give him a call. Dont let the fact hes in another state hold you back. I am really glad i reached out to him!!!!

Took care of my three dogs’ spa treatments and transportation. Such a blessing for a busy momma of 4 fur children. They came back fresh and looks like their enjoyed their spa day.

We have had a wonderful experience with the Dove Heavenly Dog Academy. The trainer, MJ, is very personable and works very well with our dog. She did a great job assessing our situation and teaching us. The techniques we are learning are very helpful and we are seeing results. I fell like we really understand our dog. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience with Dove's and its staff! All interactions were prompt and professional, and the training we received from Sonja was perfectly tailored to our dog's and our family's needs. After just a few sessions, our family felt we had a new dog altogether - we are so grateful for the advice and expertise Dove's was able to give us, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their dog's behavior.

Doves Dog Academy is a great! place to work for I am a groomer here at Doves Dog academy Willie the founder and General Manager of Doves Dog Academy handles things in a very professional manner and strives to be his very best and ensures that his employees and Clients get the best experiences always he takes so much pride in his work and is very caring and understanding with both his employees and clients and very uplifting all around great guy to associate with and work for on rating wise I would definitely rate Doves Dog Academy a 10 10 being the best I would definitely give them a 10.Then our Manager that handles paperwork and payroll Jessica is very pleasant to associate with also and does her job well We just have a great overall team here at Doves Dog Academy if you happen to read our post here give us a try we won’t let you down.

I can't imagine how hard it would be for both me and my dog had Willie not taken us on as a client. He is incredibly personable, knowledgable, and hardworking. My adopted husky has made amazing progress with her separation anxiety, obedience, and leash behavior. Working with Willie made me realize that you get out of the dog what you put into the dog. The training was 100% perfect and justified for us! My husky and I highly recommend Willie! Further, he came by today to see how everything was going with the dog even though our training with him is complete. That is going above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. You will not find a harder working nor more upbeat and fun trainer. Thanks, Willie!
