Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I thought the strawberry shake was less than desirable. Always get a shake at the Dairy Queen off the interstate in Council Bluffs on my way to Des Moines. Now that's a strawberry shake!

Service was great but tbh I'm just not a big fan of their food. Ice cream was pretty good. So that's fine.

Tonight 6/17/16 was the first and last time I will go to this Dairy Queen. My husband and I ordered a small chocolate, heath, cappuccino blizzard. After repeating my order twice because the machine needs fixing, the assistant manager informed me that they can't add cappuccino to the order because their district rep had told them they can't add coffee to the blizzard because they "make their own coffee" now. Who knew???!!! Anyway, I told him that two nights ago I had ordered the same blizzard at the South 16th DQ. He just repeated the same song and dance that he had been programmed to say. Blah, blah, blah, we can't make that... I then asked if I could have the corporate complaint line. He then said he wasn't allowed to give out his managers personal number. I informed him that I wasn't asking for his managers number. And again repeated that I wanted the corporate number. He then told me he couldn't give me the owner's number. SMH I have to say that he did give me the store number. Not sure what that will do. Once we got home I decided to call the South 16th store to confirm whether corporate had indeed sent down the message that cappuccino could no longer be used in the blizzard. As I figured, they have not heard of any policy change. I definitely will take the time to drive the extra miles to the South 16th location.

Very nice and friendly and the food was great.

Sundae always looks sloppy. The topping is just a puddle sitting at the top of what barley is a peak of ice cream. Not my favorite Dairy Queen definitely would recommend the one on Old Cheney.

Okay people, but I felt like they weren't spending any time on customer service. Prices high, toast that came with my food was hard as an actual rock, like they had it leftover from lunch time and reheated it in the microwave. Blizzard was skimpy. Not worth the price.

We've been waiting for almost 30 mins to get our food in the drive thru lane. The girl was taking our order but then just stopped to go outside. When she came back we had to start out order all over again. This has been a terrible experience just to get some lunch.

It took forever n they made many mistakes. Even the young lady who works there said the same thing.. it was filthy in there, garbage was over filled n falling to the floor. They made my banana split with all vanilla ice cream n I ordered all choc. So they had to remake it again!! Not pleased n for tht amount of money I spent was not pleased!!!! I dont want to even rate this place bc it was so bad, but apparently I hv to, to post it..

Always good food. Staff are friendly.

The management of this location is terrible, long wait times, they treat their employees like animals, I have witnessed this myself, customers are an inconvenience. This used to be my go to DQ but I will drive to the one on S16th from now on.
