Marley is so pampered! He loves to arrive, loves to stay and likely would just "visit" home!

Would b five stars but my price quote went from 230$ to 409$. Surprise surprise. When I brought my cat in they assured me that was the right price. 230$ 6 hrs later when I went to pick her up the price jumped 179$. I'm on a budget and that was not cool. To bad we all cant jump are wages to whatever we want. 6-8-2020. That Help? I added the ear mite treatment.the ear check was an extra ten bucks. Don't they check the ears when they do the general health comp in house? I was charged another 20$ when I brought her back for treatment 2 of 2.. not informed of that one either. Now 429$ Invoice#355490

I absolutely love Capital Animal Clinic! I used to work here for many years. Dr. Bryan Welty is an amazing veterinarian! Staff are very polite & friendly & good with your fur children 🙂🐕🐱. I always donate newspapers/ads every other Saturday as they can always use to keep kennels clean. I wouldn't take my fur kids any where else! …

Capitol staff are always professional and friendly. They were very considerate when our family pet passed away.

I have had 3 of my pet male rats neutered at Capitol Animal Clinic and each time, we have been met by nothing but kind, educated, compassionate, animal-loving individuals. They were willing to answer all of my questions with a smile on their face, and I was able to find out that they see many types of exotics! I will now be bringing my rats and chameleon to them for regular checkups, vet visits when the 'kiddos' aren't feeling their best and, Lord forbid it ever comes to this, but when it comes time for one of my little critters to cross the rainbow bridge. Some more notes - After talking to an animal shelter I am close to in Omaha, this location seems to be the most affordable for neuters in Lincoln+Omaha and would potentially be worth the commute if one did live in Omaha to get their boy "fixed". They offer laser therapy to help with stress and healing after surgical procedures at a very reasonable cost, and the ratties seemed to enjoy it. Each time I picked up my boys, they were awake and alert enough to know who I was and what was going on, but calm enough that I could tell that they had been handled with a delicate hand in my absence. They offer drop-off visits for days when the vet is busy and may not be able to fit in an appointment to meet with human+pet! This may make some individuals nervous but, after the care I've received at some of the other vets for my ratties, I fully trust these individuals to take care of my boys even when I'm not around, and still be fully upfront about costs, procedures, etc. They really do seem to out the animals first instead of making a quick buck. Their kindness and knowledge between all staff members is incredibly reassuring and I am now a forever supporter of this little clinic tucked away on North 66th. 🥰 Thank you CACPC!!

If you enjoy a door being slammed in your face and your dog taken back forcefully, then feel free to waste your money here. Waited for 20 minutes then was told we couldn’t get an estimate until after her exam was does (we were asking how much the exam was and she was forcefully trying to take my dog back without giving us an answer). The doctor also was rude about the questions when the answers were already written and were told to them already. She then took the leash basically demanded to take her into the back without saying what they were fully doing. So I explained I wanted to know what prices were and what was going to be done before she took her, she threw the leash back at me and said okay fine I’ll go check, and proceeded to slam the door hard enough for the other one to fly open. We got up walked out. Definitely do not recommend this place, save your money and time and find a get that cares:)

Bad experience. At time of pick up I had to insist on a itemized receipt and also convince the very rude and impatient receptionist to let me talk to the doctor about how to administer my cats new medication. My cat came home smelling of feces as well like she sat in poop all day. 10/10 do not recommend this vet clinic. The lady who came to get her dog after me was also met with the rude unprofessional receptionist who rolled her eyes when the woman wanted to go over the visit with the doctor. I left the clinic with my cat feeling like the clinic did not care about the wellness of my pet or my own experience as a client. I will NEVER go back to the Capital animal clinic.

Good care. Questions answered regarding pet's health. Necessary drugs to maintain good health are available. I have been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy. Never a disappointment. Highly recommended.

This place is absolutely amazing! I took my cat here to get spayed and they where so amazing and patient. I was very nervous for her to get spayed but they where super patient with me and very understanding! They even let me call and check up on her while she was in surgery. When I went to pick her up they explained everything to me and I went home confident that my cat was very well taken care of!

My grandsons puppy got a treble hook in his lip and we took him here and the vet was so generous she didn't charge us for the 1 minute removal. This vet is within walking distance for my grandson so he was very impressed with their services. Meet Shadow he's 11 weeks old.
