Motel 6 Kearney, NE

Probably the best Motel 6 I have ever stayed at. The only drawback was that there was a gap between the base of the bed and the wall. Fortunately I caught my cat before she disappeared under the bed. I thought that was odd for a pet-friendly hotel, but I realize most people travel with dogs, not cats.

Simple place to sleep, no frills, clean room, all solid flooring. Staff was kind and polite. Coffee available in the morning with many options for breakfast in the go in the area.

Minimalist but cute, speedy check in, easy off the interstate. There are rooms w fridges / microwaves, you just need to book one of those. No coffee maker in room but the lobby has coffee in the morning. For the price, everything was as expected. The only bummer was that our room was right by a side door, and the walls are thin so we heard *everyone* going in and out. Ask for a room mid hallway or upstairs if you're a light sleeper.

Staff very nice. The rooms are renovated so they look good and everything worked. The only thing I'd say to be watchful for is parking. Sometimes the parking lot fills up and if you tend to come in late there won't be many spots. Overall would stay here again and recommend.

This is a super super SUPER nice Motel 6. I was surprised, based on prior Motel 6 experiences. It was immaculate inside and out and probably better than other more expensive places.

This is my favorite place to stay on my trips through Nebraska and other states. The rooms are always clean, and the staff here is so upbeat and courteous. This is by far the best value you will find for a pet friendly motel. I will never stay anywhere else when I come through here. It's close to the highway but quiet, and there are dozens of places to eat within a few miles. Kearny has beautiful countryside and fresh air. I highly recommend this motel 6.

Stopped here for a night on our cross-country move. They had excellent parking for our truck and it seemed like a safe enough area. The room was extremely clean. We needed to change one of our rooms, which they did without any trouble. Would easily stay here again.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 many, many times as it is the halfway point on my trips to Colorado. It has never disappointed! It’s not fancy, but does everything right. Spotless, comfortable, quiet. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great too! Kearney is big enough that it has many amenities but not so big as to be overwhelming to a visitor. Highly recommend!

On 2 15 my bf mom and I stayed there rosie at the front desk gave us a discount aarp for the 3 of us very sweet of her but in the morning the coffee was cold not good and the vending machine soda on wouldn't take my debit card luckily I had change then my mom's key card wouldn't work one of them and dish network not enough channels

Girl at front was terrible. She slammed the cards down. Was nasty about the entire transaction. I said something to my sister about the girls eyes on the picture behind her and she went all crazy stating she wasn't hoing to stand there why we talked about her. She then stated she wasn't renting us and my husband who did 20 active years in the military the three rooms we already paid for 2. She then kicked us out when I told her that had cameras in lobby to prove her nasty attitude and she then states she will call the cops. She handed me one paper with a refund during her rant about "get out or im calling the cops" and then when my sister went back in to show her only one refund she states "well u left so fast I couldn't give you the second refund" ummm you KICKED us out we didn't leave. I've stated at 6 Motel 6 motels in just the past 6 days NOT including the many many others over the years. Motel 6 was ny go to Motel. Not anymore. I am appalled and discusted. Calling corporate as well to file a complaint. This was today at 5:38:pm. Not cool. If you hate your job and do not want to be there then do not take it out on customers who are traveling thousands of miles and tired and need lodging.
