Gambino's Pizza

I don’t usually post reviews, but I had to say something. We have never been to Gambinos, and wanted to try something new. We were not happy. We ordered a meat cravers pizza, a Buffalo chicken pizza, a cheese loves pizza, and cheesy breadsticks with 4 sides of ranch (which we didn’t receive, but that’s not big deal, it’s ranch 🤷‍♀️). $70.14 and tipped $5.00 in cash. For $75, I at least expected to get cooked dough, but unfortunately we didn’t. The breadsticks were decent, kind of middle of the road, but they were at least cooked. I have an autistic 5 year old and his favorite food is pizza, and we couldn’t get him to eat it. My entire family was sadly disappointed. It was a waste of our money, and we will not be returning. I won’t recommend Gambinos to family, or friends. What a shame.

Great price and buffet has good selection!

My specialty 'pepperoni cravers' pizza was almost $20. It only had 12 pepperoni on it. 12! It was close to closing time so maybe they ran out? Not 100% sure but just did not feel worth the money. Staff was impatient while we decided what we wanted since it was our first time going there, but again it was 30 minutes before the closed...Pizza was good and prepared pretty quickly. Would just go somewhere else for that price considering what we got. Was willing to spend the extra money for something above ordinary..

I am not a conspiracy theorist...but if I were when it came to this pizza I would guess that whomever came up with the recipe and even the designs and colors were huge Godfather’s Pizza fans! And I am not talking about Godfather’s post corporate buyout. I am talking Columbus, NE-like, still independently owned Godfather’s. And that’s not a good thing...it’s a GREAT thing! This is some great pizza!!!! Kudos to Gambino’s...it’s the best pizza in Kearney. Will be back for sure!!!

It was our first time at Gambino's. Their choices will keep you looking for quite a while until you decide on exactly how you want your pizza custom made. I tried cauliflower crust for the first time and it was perfect and perfectly delicious. I thought their prices were high though.

Friendly service. Great salad bar and pizza toppings. We didn't like the pizza rust or the calzone. Crust had no flavor.

Incredible pizza! Delicious crust with the perfect texture...and without the grease that comes with other pizzas at other places. Awesome service, great, polite owners/employees. I pray this place can expand to a bigger facility someday so that more people can enjoy this place at once. This place gave me back hope for Kearney pizza, and I have 10x the pizza cravings per week now that I’ve eaten here!

My wife and I have been on a mostly keto diet for more than the past year. Gambino's offers an excellent quality cauliflower crust which is both gluten free and low carb. Depending on which toppings are ordered, the carb count can be as low as 2 per slice. This is the only place that I know of where I can eat a half pepperoni cauliflower crust pizza for only a total of six carbs. And it is very good! Our kids love the regular crust pizza, and will typically get meatball, pepperoni or Hawaiian. We typically order for carryout or delivery, but when we have eaten at the restaurant it has been very clean and the staff has been very welcoming and helpful. Gambino's offers a large selection of very good pizza which our whole family can enjoy.

We stopped and got pizza a few nights ago. We ordered the 18" pizza with 2 additional toppings; our pizza total was $30.00 +! We thought that was extremely expensive. Unfortunately, we were not overly excited about the pizza - it was just OK - at that price I expect more. There was something that just didn't do it for us. I must say, however, that the employees were over the top kind and friendly - not lacking in the customer service department! We received our pizza in record time also! The business is nice and very clean. We may try their calzones at another time, just not jazzed about the pizza, and we would like to give them another chance. We appreciate our hometown businesses.

So miss the days of a salad bar with pizza bar and Gambino's is the last place that seems to have it and it's awesome
