Terrible misleading no pool breakfast worse ever. No milk, no ice, mold ceiling above tub, no help under wrong name need refund

Enjoyed our stay here. Very clean rooms. Staff was friendly and the price was great. You wont be disappointed staying here :)

This seemed like a great motel upon first visit, but that changed after a short while. No one was ever attending the front desk. When we arrived in the evening someone promptly answered when I dialed 0 on the service phone, but the young guy kept coughing into his hand when he was handling my card/license. In the morning, my boyfriend said he saw the attendant talking to someone, but then went into a private room behind the desk and laid in bed. After that I tried calling the front desk multiple times to double check when check-out time was, since there were 2 different times posted in our room. The phone would only ring once or twice then hang up. Never did see or speak to anyone. (The sign on our door said 11am, but the sign on the end table had a 1 crossed out and changed to 10am) The bed was fairly comfortable, but the sheet didn't seem to be clean. There were a couple of crusty spots. We can only assume what those were.... Nice TV and free WiFi with good connection. We were able to play our online video games lag free. No shampoo/conditioner. Just a bar of soap and a small tube of "bath & shower gel." Decided not to shower. The last review said the pet fee was $10, but we were charged $15. I also agree that the rooms were hastily updated. Carpet has paint and stains and is pulling apart at the edges. A few holes and patches on walls that haven't been finished. Dirt on the floor of the tub. There is complimentary breakfast, but I'm not sure if the options were extremely limited or we got there too late and half of it was gone. There was only a waffle maker, bread, cereal, coffee and milk. The vending machine was empty. Compared to the Google picture of the breakfast bar, half that stuff is non-existent. I didn't really check, but I'm assuming the pool still isn't functional since I saw mattresses in front of the pool entry door. I am writing this review while still in the room, and even though it is not yet 10am, (I've determined that check-out is 11am upon grabbing my receipt from the car) someone (don't know who, a short older man) walked into our room! This place needs a bit of improvement.

The motel was updated when ownership changed from Howard Johnson's but the updates seemed incomplete or rushed with no attention to details. The room was not clean. Carpets had stains in multiple places and looked like some was paint drops. The ceiling in bath water damage, tile in bathroom was cracked and chipped, the tub drain wasn't functioning, the sink looked like it had been pulled away from wall and not repaired fully. The furniture had stains. The walls were patched but did not match the wall color. 3 flimsy pillows on Queen size bed. The bedding was clean and the bed was supportive and comfy. Vending machine was empty and the pool was closed for repairs. Crying baby next door was quite annoying but didn't call front desk as I am sure the mother was having a sleepless night too and didn't need any more stress. They allow dogs for a $10 fee per dog "due to different, safe cleaning supplies required for rooms that allow dogs". Made me wonder why a room for people didn't require safe cleaning supplies.
