Interstate traveler needed AC checked out because it was intermittent. Tried GM dealer across street when they opened at 7:30 but 3 tow-in's overnight meant they couldn't look at my truck until 11am. Tried Conrad's and was very pleased with service. They got me right in at 7:45 AM. AC check was about $25 cheaper than dealer and I know enough about car repair to know based on their diagnostic findings that they were trustworthy and did the work as performed. Given I was in somewhat vulnerable position traveling thru, an untrustworthy mechanic could have taken advantage and pushed me into unnecessary repair.

Spent 1800 on complete new air conditioning system. In the process they blew up new compressor. Replaced that compressor. Had lifetime warranty on new system. 1 year later new compressor quits. Says warranty doesn't cover labor. Gets quoted a little over 250 for labor. End up being charged 480 for labor. Waiting in line listening to 2 other customers being given the run around on ending price. One customer said his vehicle was given back to him without oil. Everyone I know has a horror story of this place. If you value your time, money and vehicle don't take it to these dishonest people.

We were in town for the eclipse when our water pump seized and a belt broke. A wonderful good Samaritan towed us in, and Brandon took an immediate look at our vehicle. He took excellent care of us! He gave us a very reasonable quote. Knowing we were on a road trip, they started fixing it as soon as we gave the ok and had us back on the road in less than 24 hrs. Even came and picked us up at our campground the next morning! If you have car trouble anywhere near south-central Nebraska, have them bring it here. 1500 miles later, we have had no further problems. God bless Brandon, the mechanic, and Evan, the good Samaritan!!! Saved our trip (that we had been planning for two years!)

Conrad’s auto is hands down the most trustworthy and honest car dealerships and maintenance shops in Kearney. For example, I thought I had rattle in my dash a couple months back. Instead of ripping my dash apart which would labor costly. Con and his crew identified the problem, it was my garage door rattling on my visor. I purchased my first car from them and rely on their expertise when there a problem with the car or just general maintenance (oil, tire rotation etc). Con and his team have helped us out so much. Our daughters car broke down and Conrad diagnosed with a bad engine. Local dealership (Hyundai) wouldn’t warranty (60,000 miles)it so had vehicle towed back to Conrad’s so he and his guys could replace the engine. Excellent staff and very help. I definitely recommend them!

Everyone is very helpful & friendly. Today, I went to pay a bill & my bed cover wasn't attached correctly. Doug didn't hesitate as he got tools, took off the part, ground it down, re-attached it, & never charged me. Great group to work with!

I was driving through town and my car wouldn't start. I brought it to a repair shop across the road and they were going to charge me $2600 to have it fixed. I thought that was outrageous so I walked over to Conrad's and talked to Conrad himself. He thought about it and came up with another solution that would only cost $400. After driving an additional 1000 miles since this repair my car is running better than ever. Conrad saw someone in a vulnerable situation and made sure that they received the best care possible. He is truly one of the most genuine business owners out there.

Conrad's is the best auto repair shop... anywhere! I wish I could take them with me back to Georgia to always work on my vehicle. I was traveling through to the Tetons when my van needed some help. After first going to Midas down the road (who overcharged me by double and left my van in worse shape than when i brought it in), i went to conrad's who diagnosed and installed a part and let me sleep in my van on property. They were so nice to me and my dog and were quick and the price was amazing. I 100% recommend Conrads to anyone looking for an honest mechanic with fair prices.
