Anytime Fitness

I wouldn’t recommend working out here at all if you’re not a fan of contracts because once this place has you in a contract it’s nearly impossible to cancel your membership.

My wife got locked into a three year membership, ended up using it less than three months then joining the Y instead. After her three years was up, she tried all month to get ahold of someone, finally left a message to cancel her membership as we no longer live where she bought the membership. Now four months later she is still be charged for a membership she doesn't want or need, she STILL can't get ahold of anyone there. Looks like a 300 mile trip is in order to actually get this cancelled. Extremely disappointed in their (lack of) handling this situation.

Not a good experience, look elsewhere for a place to work out.

Its a gym I guess. Yeah the location is OK, but its really small and has no WiFi. The equipment looked a little banged up. It has only one squat rack, so if your looking to lift you better get it in during the middle of the night when most people are sleep!

Men’s restroom was gross. Pee all over the toilet seat and water all over the floor. I actually used the woman’s restroom to shower because the men’s was nasty. Also no towels available, unlike every other location I’ve been too. I’m also the only person to clean off my equipment when I was done

Convenient stop for truck drivers, small showers is the only downside for us bigger guys.

I’m an OTR Trucker who lives in North Port, Florida, joined here years ago, and paid for 3 years in advance. Unfortunately there’s a Chinese buffet next door that I would walk into when on the way. I wasted $1700 only working out a couple times. Then fast forward a few years later, I got serious about nutrition and exercise and rejoined in North Port. 1 lost 155 pounds from May 2021 to Jan 2022

I drive truck and it's right on the outskirts of town, it's smaller but it's perfect for me. I do what I need to do without any issues, small homey gym, polite people just a great atmosphere to workout in especially being a trucker couldn't be more happy about location and the things inside!

This place is literally a dumpster fire. Out of all the Anytime locations I’ve been to, this one is by far the worst. It’s actually the worst gym I’ve ever been to and I’ve been in a lot of gyms. And I mean it’s bad. The building is super small and the equipment is all old junk Precor machines and they are lacking basic machines. My joints have never bothered me as much as they do now after spending some time on their unergonomic machines. The whole layout in there is completely wrong. You literally have to trip over machines to get to the machine you want and there’s no reason the equipment should be arranged like that when there’s plenty of space to spread them out. Most machines have issues and are plain worn out. Several pieces of equipment need welded on or repaired in some way. Non of their cable machines are smooth due to their old age and lack of maintenance. The few cable attachments that they do have are mostly damaged and when they do replace an attachment it’s just some cheap Amazon junk. The place is always filthy inside and is rarely cleaned. The machines are to the point that they would need to be power washed to ever appear clean again. Cardio equipment is all mix and matched junk and their stair stepper is awkward. This place is littered with disrespectful high school kids. When I joined I was told that other members join there to get away from the younger crowd and that was a flat out lie from their manager, Magda. The restrooms are dirty and stained up with filth and hard water spots from lack of cleaning. It’s a rather disgusting establishment. This is a completely truthful review of Anytime Fitness Lexington, and don’t believe it if someone tells you differently. Don’t join here and don’t visit this gym unless you absolutely have to.

This is probably one of the dirtiest Anytime Fitness I've ever been to and I've been to several. Definitely don't forget your shower shoes if you do happen to take a shower here. The bathroom, bathroom doors, and club walls and floors aren't the cleanest. Despite the lack of cleaning it's uber convenient only being .3 miles off the highway, and within a block from Walmart. It is probably one of the busiest AF for how small it is. I am traveling through and needed to get my work out in. I brought most of my own gear since I figured they wouldn't carry 3 pound weights. They didn't so I'm glad I did. Everyone there was too busy REALLY working out and getting all sweaty, so I didn't feel as weird being there as I do some gyms. I didn't take any photos of the dirtyness hoping that the club sees this and does something about it. I still recommend going to this club, just be sure to wipe down your equipment like you should, because someone will be using it again. People really get after their muscles at this gym. I loved seeing ALL ages too!
